First game is here... thanks Py'Tom
All, Py'Tom (see above) said it was OK to post my game here for ya'll to look at so here it is. Py'Tom pointed out that rollback is on and immediately ends the game... I'm fixing this... Also, I know the game is perhaps a bit "cheesy" by the visual novels standards I have seen here. I am i...

Ren'Py abused! Two weeks from download to commercial game..
OK, so I've created my first Ren'Py game... First a warning: The Ren'Py purists are going to scream because what I have done does not fit the genre at all! But it does demonstrate the flexibility of Ren'Py. I've created an educational game called LearningSquared! It is a jeopardy style game for use ...

When you say "for the customer's own use..."
Doc, When you say "for the customer's own use" do you read this as meaning literally for there own use and not tweaking and then selling? Not sure that is clear but hopefully you'll understand. I need to go back an look at my license to see that it does not explicitly exclude what you ment...

My 2 cents on an old thread $$ for Ren'Py
This may be a dead-thread but I wanted to give some input anyway. First, my first commercial game based on Ren'Py is out. I'll be posting more about this in a week or so when I have some other ducks-in-a-row. Second, Kudos to Ren'Py for a great product!!!!! Third, as an Indie developer... I think a ...

License question
Hi all (esp. py'tom I bet!), License question... I've taken the entire text of the Ren'Py license and dependency licenses and have appended all of that to my license for a commercial game built on Ren'Py. The user has to accept / decline the license as part of the install process and the license.txt...

Anybody try pyTTS with Ren'Py?
Hi all, I am not familiar with speex and that may be the way to go... But I am thinking of tinker around with pyTTS to incorporate text to speech functionality into an educational game I am trying to build with ren'py. It seems that is should be fairly easy but wanted to query first if anyone had do...

Yet Another ImageMap Question: Show previously selected
Ok, I'm new so take it easy on me... I think I know the answer (ui.stuff instead of imagemap) but I'm asking anyway... Is there a way to show which hotspots have been previously selected? In essence, before continuing I want the user to select each of the hotspots at least once and provide them visu...
