Thanks to every body who responded, I took all your advice and fixed the problem. I'm not getting the error when i start from the beggining, only when I load. Anyways, Thanks for your help.

The group sounds like a great idea; both to work with people at your own skill level and to help us newbs become more established. The visual novel sounds really cool to, I'd been glad to help out. I'm honestly more of a writer, but I've made my own backgrounds before.

I took you advice and tried to make the mother more apologetic and the son more detached (or at least make it seem like he's trying to be detached) The relationship between him and his mother is meant consists basically of her manipulating him (in this case emotionally), control...
