Re: Lífþrasir Main
It was a really strange and original game / story (there is so little interaction), I enjoyed the mood of it, even if I didn't understand all.

Re: a new tool for creating Ren'Py games
I really don't know how I could achieve this, I don't even know how to program in python, I'm afraid. Why not ask to commission PyTom instead?

Re: a new tool for creating Ren'Py games
I've already programmed in Inform 6 and 7. I know a bit some of those games, but they involve to type the commands anyway. What do you have in mind, for porting them to Ren'Py? Could you develop more?

Re: a new tool for creating Ren'Py games
yes they do (only numerical links are working). Btw I forgot to upload the EPUB export, it's done now. On this version, there is also only one chapter / pagenope wrote: A fool's question - e-readers support the links in the text you used for skipping from page to page?
I never actually used such a device.

a new tool for creating Ren'Py games
Hello, I've developped some tools for creating traditional gamebooks (CYOA) and exporting them to PDF, HTML and such. It's using a very simple syntax, for creating chapter you just surround the number with "==" for example "== 15 ==" and to create nodes you just type "- desc...

Re: Android RenPy?
maybe it's possible at the beginning to be able to parse the renpy code, for having the CYOA part of the game, even without sounds and pictures.
It would be a pity not to have the multimedia parts, but being able to play some renpy games on Android would be cool indeed.

Re: Apology project: Medieval mystery
I've just finished this great game! - I liked the graphics, music and mood very much (I'm quite found of medieval Germany) - The reference to the "dollars" is much out of place and out of time! (Or was it happenning at the Disney's castle  ?) - I wished I got a native linux / mac os x...

Re: [VN][30][Slow][Science Fantasy]Monochromie : Blanche

packaging Ren'Py into linux distributions
I'm making a package of Ren'Py for my linux distribution (archlinux) : http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23983 The problem is software usually go into for example a /usr/share/renpy folder, which is not writable for everyone. Besides, Renpy expects the starting folder to be writable, otherwis...

It's good you've made this module so we can use Scite again. Jedit is way too slow on my system (and it's not a really old computer).

Re: Chaining transitions
it seems too complicated for me :( What I was thinking of would be a kind of user defined "macro" like this : def showmypic(mypic): show mypic at centertop with dissolve then you can call it by "showmypic(picture1.png)" and it will replace it by: show picture1.png at centertop wi...

Re: Chaining transitions
in a similar way, is it possible to combine several elements such as the placement and the transition? I have many pictures to display with always the same construction for ex: show mypicture at centertop with dissolve Would it be possible to label this function "displaypic" and call it on...
