Re: Stand on your mark (question about directing)
To be honest, it kind of bothers me when characters are always centered. It seems unnatural, like the character being shown is standing way too close to the POV character.

Re: [WIP] American Jurassic (demo available, artists needed)
I really liked it, actually, but I was expecting more of a response, too. The pacing seems a little erratic at times. For example, extremely little time is spent on the very first bit, while Schuyler is back at the university, but as soon as he gets to the ranch, everything slows way down. It seems ...

Re: Writing about other character's memories
I figured the POV character was visualizing what they were being told. Since its fictional, their imagination just happens to be ridiculously accurate.

Re: If your VN was an anime/cartoon
I would probably wonder who is sending me fake letters and why. And then get a terrible headache. Maybe not in that order.

Re: Ai Sp@ce(visual novel MMO)
I've been "playing" it off and on for a while, now. It's very cute, and I like the graphics, but that's about all there is to it. There are not a lot of things to do. It can be fun, though. I like the events and stuff where the original characters are hanging around and you can interact wi...

Re: What annoys you in visual novels?
I really don't like repetition. Hello childhood friend who always wakes me up! Let's be late for school again. ...Lunch time! Let's bother the girl in front of me. Or not. School's over! Time for bed. (next day) Gosh! It's raining! Hello childhood friend who always wakes me up! Let's be late for sch...

1. How many games on the Renai Archives have you played? e) 8 to 15 f) 16 or more (It is hard for me to remember. I play a lot of games, and I drop a lot of games in the middle of playing, only to go back months later. I'm in the middle of playing a few right now. So I don't know.) 2. Of those games...

Re: Opinions about making games as a hobby/working for free
Art is hard, and even harder when its being done for someone else. Some people have very specific visions of what something should be like, but they don't know how to explain it, some people are just jerks that you don't want to work with. If someone has to make a lot of things, it's pretty easy to ...

But still, if it's a product for children, sometimes pure evil character are needed. Perhaps it's like when your 5 years old kids asking you "Is stealing bad? Is killing someone bad? Are terrorist who bomb the subway (and killing 325+ people) are bad guys? (And so on)" Will you answer &qu...

Voice sounds, y/n?
This idea has almost certainly been thought of before, but I cannot find any posts or threads about it. Basically, I was thinking of adding... uh... "Zelda-style-voice-sounds" to my game. Like the beginning of this , if we pretend that mister postman didn't say "Ya-!" every textb...
