Re: Into the Distance (Dark Fantasy BXG) Progress

There's now a logo, created by Auro-Cyanide. It's gorgeous, of course. <3 I just need to make a title screen. I'm having difficulty because of my lack of art skills. OTL Oh well, we'll see what I can make. http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/8839/intothedistancecopy.th.jpg Work on the project has beg...

Re: Logos

Just dropping by to say that you did a beautiful job on my logo, and I couldn't be happier. :D Thank you so much. I'll try to put it to good use.

Re: Into the Distance (Dark Fantasy BXG) Progress

I've just gotten back to working on this. Spring Break ended up being a farce as far as actual work goes because, well, I decided to do some traveling. XD Anyway, here's the progress: All the routes have been planned in great detail. Writing them should take a day each when I get down to it. Emily's...

Re: Planet Stronghold (RPG/VN, sci-fi, commercial)

This game looks wonderful. Any chance you'll be making versions of it for portable devices (like the Iphone) like you did with Vera Blanc or is it just not possible or feasible? I'm going to get it either way. XD

Re: Into the Distance (Dark Fantasy BXG) Progress

Just to let people who might be following this know, I won't be able to work on this until next week (when my Spring Break begins). I'm pretty busy with school now. That will change soon. I'll get back in touch with my proofreaders and get them to work, haha. Thank you everyone. :)

Re: RockRobin - Band Manager (New Demo)

Just so you know, as far as I know that's a pretty rare way to read novels. XD I may not read every. last. word. of a visual novel, but skipping whole chapters in a book? For me personally that's only if there's something wrong with the book and I've only ever heard of anyone else doing that if ther...

Re: Into the Distance (Dark Fantasy BXG) Progress

Everyone who has offered to proofread will be able to proofread. The only issue is that I have a lot of proofreaders and not quite enough written. XD When everything is written there will be more than enough for everyone, don't worry. When I get it written, I will send it along to you guys.

Re: tell me why you didn't buy Vera Blanc :)

That's the thing. You're an awesome game designer. We all make silly mistakes. Not all of us can make great full-length games, though. At least, that's my two cents. :D Changing the promo pic will definitely help draw people to the game. Like I said, after I actually played it, the content is good.

Re: tell me why you didn't buy Vera Blanc :)

I've actually bought the Iphone version of the game, so I can give my thoughts: The art is a lot better than I thought after seeing it in the game itself. I'm going to be honest, the advertising picture (or whatever it's called) of Vera in her lingerie with the big strong man taking down the werewol...

Re: I need some color critique.

Hmmm...now that you mention it, yes, it is low. That's something no one has ever pointed out but is a common mistake in what I draw. Question: I have trouble with outlines obviously. How do you do them properly? This is something I can't really figure out, even from looking at art of people who've d...

Re: I need some color critique.

Oh yeah, that was helpful. I'll keep in mind to check out your tutorials when I next start to color. Also, even though I asked for coloring critique, anatomy critique would be useful as well. What can be improved there? I thought the anatomy looked okay, but if it doesn't then I'd like to correct it...

Re: I need some color critique.

Yes, that does indeed help A LOT. Like I said, my poor little lineart needs help, and I'm poor as far as color theory goes. I just recently learned that you shouldn't use black in your drawings for shading (which blew my mind XD).

I'll take critique on anything anyone notices about the piece.

I need some color critique.

I'm no genius when it comes to art. However, I would still like to improve. I'll admit, this is my first time actually digitally coloring with any program, especially Gimp. I'm simply am not used to it. I'm sure I've committed a couple of cardinal sins (I used white instead of a lighter base color),...

Re: Red Snow {Open Development}

As always, your art is impressive. Innes is pretty hot, haha. :D Amaria is beautiful, and the prince is very cute, just as you probably intended. I can't wait to get to know them. Story-wise, you've really grabbed my attention. The central conflict (the rebellion) is strong, and the main character h...

Re: Ethnicities in VNs : A Question! :O

I would like to note that I don't think that just because a person has darker or lighter or green skin or what-have-you that necessarily defines them as a person or character, as seems to be the assumption with the "I don't want to mess them up..." excuse. Just give a character a different...
