Also I'd say that you should say what did you started using for coding. It's not the same using Ren'py than programing in java. I can't help you, I'm busy enough with my own game (and I need a goddamn translator from spanish to english who is willing to translate a lot of text just for a first chapt...

For a non-profit game is it OK to use vocaloid songs? I never knew if they are copyrighted or not.

It's easy to learn and you can do a lot of things with it, but I still need to work a lot to use Ren'Py to its full capabilities.
