Re: is there a point in making foreign language games?

I'm sure that there is a German audience for visual novels. There's Felix, Gaijin , which proves that much. Of course, I can't read German so I don't exactly know how well-received it was...judging by the response on LSF, it did well. So, go ahead and make your game in German and tell the story that...

Are you still working on this? I would love to see your next doll completed or, better yet, new poses or clothes for Celeste. :D

Are you still looking for beta-testers? I'm interested. The game looks cute, even though I suck at slider puzzles (if that is one - it looks kinda like it). :P

Hyperlinked Images?

Hey, parvenue here. I'm wondering if there would be any way to make an image in the game work like a hyperlink. You know, click the picture and it takes you to a website. I'm aware that this is possible to do with text, but what about inside of the game itself, instead of in a textbox? Say, for exam...

Re: Detours

Uh, do you supposed it'd find a readership niche somewhere? Also, if somebodies already done it well, I don't want to remake the wheel or anything... But besides that, I'm really raring to go, finally having free time is empowering, heh. Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, I would think it would find a...

Re: Novelty progress update (VN maker)

Pretty cool program you're making here. Seems like it'll be easier to learn than Ren'Py when it comes to flashy images and stuff like that. Is it as easy to display images and the like as it is to customize the text box and menus? I'm assuming yes, which will be awesome. :D Looking forward to seeing...

Re: Four facts about yourself

1. I love gory movies, especially the ones that make me cringe. Yes, I'm into guro, too. One day I might make a guro visual novel to feed my morbid obsession... I absolutely hate it when horror movies don't take things far enough or they shy away from complete violence. Of course, it has its place a...

Re: Visual Novel Translation World Record Attempt!

Orcish would be hilarious, especially if someone changed Sylvie's appearance to match. I think she'd look good in green.

I wish I could contribute... I'll just say good job so far everyone. I'm glad that this forum has so many diverse languages around.

I'm not really participating in this with my main project, but me and my sister are working on a murder mystery thing that will probably be done by April. Since we started it yesterday, I believe it fits. :) Yeah, best of luck, everyone.

Re: Solstice {BL OELVN}

Artwork's being all taken care of. I'll PM a copy of the script to you when it's ready for the proofreading/editing/testing stage. First post updated. Project's been worked on stealthily all this time with a few breaks in between. It's not going to be an IntRenAiMo game, but I'm using this month to ...

Re: Solstice

@DaFool - Yeah, after doing some research around, I've seen how artwork requirements can sometimes kill projects. I've made sure not to overwork my artist by cutting corners, I guess you could say, in a way that wouldn't be noticed otherwise. I mean, does every little scene need a special CG to go a...

Everytime I try to play either game, the program boots me out and the traceback comes up. :? I don't know if it's just this computer (which is a Windows XP) or something else... Anyway, here's the traceback on both games. I'm sorry, but an exception occured while executing your Ren'Py script. TypeEr...

@ BellosTheMighty - Heh, I looked up that game. It looked...interesting. I'll be careful of the title, don't worry. I might add a word to the name around its release. For now, Solstice will stick as a WIP name. @ mikey - Well, I've always thought that Boys Love games should be for anyone. Females an...
