Re: Backspace effect(?)

@Aleema: It's quite hard, but I seriously took your advice upon reading your reply. Sadly, there's no success yet. Anyway, I'll try to adjust more numbers. @KimiYoriBaka: It seems that \b appears as it is as coded. I tried that before, but it looked like it was part of the output. I wonder if there ...

Backspace effect(?)

. . . or something like that? I hope you could understand what I mean. Okaaay. Here goes a rather vague explanation: I want to show something like the main character is typing on his keyboard, and he decided to delete some parts he typed, most likely the last set of words, then he types again with a...

yo! :D Well, I finally managed to log in! Wee. . . @miteigi-san: I'll do my best! :D I hope I'm not turning out to be a burden, tee hee. (And I really doubt about the voice stuff. I can contaminate concepts, though XD) @reader: I also hope you could help us regarding Ren'Py codes and artistic stuff!...

Re: Getting numeric input from user on screen

ui.input takes input from the player. There's an example on the page there. You can look at the source code for the tutorial, too (hitting Shift+E should take you to the general area.) Oh, yeah. The codes can't be shown if you open the files by itself, so it should be opened using the Ren'Py Launch...

Re: Tutorial game

[hides] Err... actually, it was intentional from the beginning given the love-hate (or was it hate-love) relation between Lucy and Eileen behind the scenes (which I'm currently working on as a VN project)... It's quite the "Ah..." moment for me. I'm sorry for suddenly posting such ...

Re: Getting numeric input from user on screen

Actually I would like to have that in my project as well, though it must be some sort of naming your pets/items/characters. I saw an example in the latest Ren'Py tutorial, but it did not reveal the tag it used to make such. :( Let's hope someone could help.

Re: Tutorial game

Uhm, can someone tell me if I am wrong? The meganekko there holding the guitar (aside from Eileen) has the Philippine flag on the body? concert1.jpg My concern is, the order of the colors signify a lot of meaning. Taken here from Chapter I of the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines. SECTION 10...

Re: Handwriting~

Wow. The handwriting is great. That is something my 3rd grade teacher wanted to see from us before. Unfortunately, I'm not really good at cursive writing. If ever I'm writing, I use print letters. (To see that you know Biag ni Lam-Ang makes you, undoubtedly, a Filipino. :) ) //I'll post my handwriti...

Re: Who would be interested in a Ren'Py Course?

I'm joining as well. :D However, I'm not the artist type (uh, I mean making sprites and the other graphic stuff -- I can't and don't have the luxury of time.) so I guess I'll be ditching some photos <sounds bad>. Would that be okay? I think I should focus on the programming, though. Thank you for st...

Re: Basics - Programming - Lesson 1 - with pictures!

Yehey! Thank you for initiating such programming lessons.

(Actually, the new directory has been sitting for quite a while now. :D At least it's about to be filled with codes...)

I'm looking forward to master these, even if they are basics.

Re: Nevermore

Uhm, I tried Nevermore a few days ago and I was really amazed. The story was confusing at first, honestly I was disturbed by Lenore's close-up there ( ) but generally it was good. I think the "why Ed sounded boring" there was because he did not get good sleep. I understood that s...

Re: How's your college life?

As of my case (and the others here in my country) I think I'm quite young to be a college student. I mean, I'm 17 and I'm in second year, my course takes for four years and after that I work... But if it's not really too young for you, well I guess I feel very young for this. I live in the province ...

Re: Favorite Anime Themesongs?

Wee. I love Japanese songs. What I'm listening right now is Alumina by Nightmare (Death Note). It's a nice song to play on the guitar. And I include The World. Haha. Nghtmare is so cool. ♥ I also like (a long list follows, sorry for the inconvenience) Futatsu no Kodou to Akai Tsumi by On/Off (Vampir...

Re: What are your currents favourites?

Well, I have a lot of favorites in mind right now. (I consider it a favorite if I reserve disk spaces for the files. :D) Death Note <- I can't get over this. It's been six months since I first read/watched the anime/manga. Anyone who knows where to download Volume 13: How To Read? Code:Breaker <- a ...
