Re: NEW! Visual novel engine
I read the documentation.
If I understand correctly, I have to register to download the talefab program, and the only place I can publish a VN written with talefab is your web site, and that distributing a VN as an executable file is not possible at this time. Is that correct?

Is there a user manual available? If so, can I get it without registering at your site.

Re: NEW! Visual novel engine
Does the program save the finished visual novel as an exe file, or as an html file? Not right now, but this feature is on backlogs. Technically speaking it can be done fairly easy, but... I'm planning a free media repository too (backgrounds, sprites, items collection), and it depends if the artist...

Re: How can I build a VN development team?
...I am making a visual novel for the first time, it's probably going to be movie length (2-3 hours). ... This is just my opinion; do what you think is best. I recommend you start MUCH smaller on your first project (maybe something 15 minutes long), using creative commons assets. Perhaps this could...

The two Vera Blanc visual novels by Jack Norton of Winterwoves Games (Vera Blanc - Full Moon, and Vera Blanc and the Ghost in the Castle) are on steam. They use an art style similar to comic book art. There are free demo versions available.

Re: Virus alert?
You said " . . . virus alert only appear when I create a game and try to run exe file . . ." Most anti-virus programs allow you to create an 'exception folder' where you can save files WITHOUT the antivirus program automatically running. Some antib=virus programs use the term 'excluded path'. The do...

Re: Newbie when it comes to sounds, have some questions regarding FreeSound.org
I am not a lawyer. Use my advice at your own risk. I recommend stating what cc license (3.0) you are using and the url for the site where you found the sound (https://freesound.org) You must give credit to the creator of the sound (in this case Gate_Open_00.wav created by LittleRobotSoundFactory). Y...

Re: What's the right response to learning someone is playing a pirated version of a game?
I see nothing wrong with informing the game developer. His work is getting a bad reputation. If you know the host source of the pirated games, the game developer can then submit a take down notice (Digital Millennium Copyright Act - DMCA) to the host site.

Re: How much narration is too much narration?
Is there a CG of the character on the bus? If so, no additional narration should be needed.
