I also use gimp (for lineart and colouring/shading), because I'm more familiar with it. My sister anyway does both on SAI and she really creates astonishing works with it. For example this here.

You don't need to push yourself doing something you don't like. Not everyone's as crazy as me and likes playing around with the GUI (although I wouldn't call myself an expert on it :D). But there's one thing which I like (expect?) to see in a visual novel: A self-customized textbox. I don't know why...

Finally found time to play it and was amazed by that huge amount of CGs. They're all so well-drawn and cute and I like the many different endings. Can't even say which one I liked the most
