I'm trying to get some people together to do some concept art for my VN if you're interested in helping me come up with an appropriate art style for a sci-fi/supernatural survival horror. I want to try and get a style that's not quite so anime heavy as a lot of the stuff I see around here though.

Warning! I know nothing of art theory or the sort! I love the first one. It's just all sorts of awesome. The only thing I would change is to add a tiny bend in her right elbow to give more sense of movement. The second one is cool too, but I can't figure out what you were trying to do with the expre...
