Yeah... here's the problem: I really have no decent programs at all. I have Paint, and that's about it. -_- I'm going to have to track down some freeware or something...

So, ah... how does one go about making PNGs have a transparent background? I know it's to do with the image and not Ren'Py, but I don't know how you would change the properties of the image. @_@ Help?

Or, you can check out the Ren'Py engine, which is awesome. ^_^ As for free games, try looking around in this forum, people are often making wonderful ones. Kasuka and Black Pencil are two such games.

I just found this new webcomic, bakaUSA. The art's just okay, but the humor's not too bad. It's really new, and updates on Fridays.

What program did you use to make it, anyway? Jet suggested a simple menu-building program he had, Multimedia Builder. It's basically a set of menu pages with alternative paths.
