Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

Wow.. Mikan, your style is really neat. Also, nice drawings Ocircuit. Here's my most recent, one of my original characters: http://alet-maon.deviantart.com/art/Rosalyn-74880782 Do you think characters drawn in a style like that would work all right for a visual novel (in case I ever manage to write...

Re: Node Based Compass Style Exploration?

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

woa mikan and deji you have amazing work, extremely professional looking and beautiful, I can't wait to play a game made by one of you. I hope someday my art work will reach a quality like that. For now my tablet is disconnected and so i haven't done much art work in a while. But here are some of my...

Re: click-to-continue response cursor

How can I make this work with a visual novel in nvl format? I've seen it done before but I'm not sure how to tweak the code. Using the code as is it leaves the blinking arrow next to each line of text for the duration of the time the text is displayed. I need it only to blink on the newest line of t...

So how would I change his ctc and ctc_position outside of a defintion or can I use something like

Code: Select all

$ narrator=Character(...new...)
to overwrite it?

I think its

$ narrator=Character('None', ctc = anim.Blink("arrow.png"))

Re: click-to-continue response cursor

I wanted to use this in my visual novel, but never knew how. It works sorta...the arrow should only show up after one new line of text promting the player to click for the next line, but with this code the arrow stays on every line of text and continues blinking instead of staying only on the newest...

Re: quit / confirm quit screen

thanks! actually from the main menu I didn't have the option to quit, only start and load (for this vn, im actually working on 2) but you can still exit at the main menu or at any menu (save/load etc) just by clicking on the 'X' on the game window, so how would I make that work? Say the player is in...

quit / confirm quit screen

Ok, I know I'm asking questions like crazy but I figure they're probably also useful to someone other than me and I really need help (programming and code just confuses the hell outta me). I'm making my own custom menus and screens and I wanted to make my own quit confirm screen, so I was able to ma...

Re: rollback randomly broken? (fixed)

well I just came across something strange...when I was making the story part of the game and testing it I created saves in the game to quickly get to certain parts of the story. So I still wasn't able to get the rollback to work properly, but I loaded a save from the load menu and the rollback works...
