Re: About returning to a certain point in the game (?)

- Add ccinc = renpy.curried_call_in_new_context - Replace ui.jumps (jumping) with ccinc (calling.) - Return will jump back to that part where you left off. -Every time you call , you will use return will go back to that spot you left off. I hope I make sense. -If you use return without a call , you...

Re: About returning to a certain point in the game (?)

Oh! I get it now! Gosh I'm so slow... I think what you need is some sort of "return" to game button or something. I'm not really sure but maybe this topic would help. http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9808 Sorry if it wont help at all. I added "return" at the end of the label but...

Re: About returning to a certain point in the game (?)

I don't think the code is necessary because there really is no problem with it right now, but i'll show you anyway ^^. Under the init python, I wrote the code for the textbutton and the others that go with it: #stats overlay def display_stat(): if show_display_stat: ui.frame() ui.vbox(xpos=0.03, ypo...

About returning to a certain point in the game (?)

I have this textbutton that appears on the screen all the time. When you click it, it jumps to a label. What I want to do is after jumping to that label, the game returns to the part or point of the game when or before the button is clicked. Is that possible? Or does anyone even understand what I'm ...

Re: Uploading Your Game

Ren'Py is not for online playing. It is for making downloadable games only. Well that makes it all clear. :) Thanks! I feel a bit disappointed. I was really hoping ren'py games could be played online because if people have to download it first less would be playing the game and the author/creator w...

Uploading Your Game

I'm not done on my project yet but I just wanted to know about uploading your game on the internet. Is it possible to upload your game for online playing or people really have to download your game before they can play it? Thanks :)

Re: About text buttons

Hm...just a quick thought, because now I don't have time to test things and look trough your code: Which version of RenPy do you have? If it's one of the newest- try using the new screen language for the imagemap. I think the simplest way to figure out version is just run Ren'py and look at what it...

Re: About text buttons

I've already visited that. I just couldn't understand it. But now I know how to create a button and make it appear all the time. I was just confused that time. Thanks anyway. But I still don't know why it looks like this: printscreen.png I mean the screen is black. There is supposed to be an image m...

About text buttons

How do you make a text button and make it appear on the screen all the time? Also, how do I make it open a window with statistics when clicked? Sorry for asking too many questions. Thanks! :D
