Dragon Essence:Color My World
After 6 years, the latest visual novel by Zeiva Inc. is released: http://zeiva.net/dragon/first_index.html This was collaborated with another artist and I thought I'd start a thread discussing it. Personal thoughts in spoiler ofc: I realize now that Area-X for me was THE visual novel for Zeiva inc. ...

How crowded is the visual novel market now?
I was logging onto steam and realized wow...there are a ton of visual novels on there now. First, that made me glad there was so many (hey more fans of visual novels right) but then I wondered, how does this affect the typical visual novel maker? How crowded is the market? Is it good in that there a...

Re: (commercial) Planet Stronghold: Colonial Defense
Have to say, the new art is a massive upgrade over the previous style. I was perusing the steam forums and realized the huge quality difference (no offense but the old art romance cgs made me cringe). The new art upgrade (and I do mean upgrade, finally I can actually play the demo) made me realize a...

Re: (commercial) Planet Stronghold: Colonial Defense
Woah, he's not going to be the same artist for Roger Steel is he? That would drop Roger Steel from a must get to a probable pass even though I love your RPGs... But yeah, I think I could live with this theme song if the art was different for PSCD. It really is strange how much in the uncanny valley ...

Re: (commercial) Planet Stronghold: Colonial Defense
I know this is a bad thing to say, but the art really turned me off this game. I'm already hesitant because I'm not so much a fan of card games, but the art was off-putting for me. I don't mind realistic non-anime art, but this seemed in the realm of an uncanny valley (especially the main character ...

Re: ToA: Seasons Of The Wolf (RPG/all combos)
The quality of this game is clearly high and I really am enjoying it so far. A rich storyline and fun game play, this was WELL worth the money spent. Side note: there is a fairly obvious mistake in the part where you address the chapter. Its even on the game's promotional page where the bad guy (can...

Re: Cinders - a serious take on a fairytale
Incredibly impressive visual novel that made me a big fan of this group. The art is stunning, the story is deep and rich, the choices actually affect the storyline and made a strong character even better in the process. Dang, easily one of the best visual novels I have had the pleasure of reading. I...

Bought and playing through right now
I love the art and non-linear storyline that lets me really shape the story. Beautiful game, I'm really enjoying it. I'll comment back later after finishing, but I just had to post and say, this was well worth the wait.

Re: Rising Angels (CatgirlxOthers)
The art is really pretty, though I'm more curious about how the KN will turn out. I'm admittedly on the fence about KN, mainly because the "best" endings can differ for each person. I loved a KN that went the way I expected/wanted and ended up hating a different KN that ended in an entirel...

Re: Analogue: A Hate Story
 I now understand why all indie game devs want to be on Steam. Wow. Also: there's a review on IGN for Analogue: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/05/12/analogue-a-hate-story-review I think it's safe to say C. Love made it big times. Crazy. I really hope this leads to more attention for more gr...

According to her twitter: Analogue sold 5000 copies on Steam (and 1300 on her website) already.
Dang, very nice numbers.

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?
Death Note and Cowboy Bebop are always my favorites :D I love True Tears (up to episode 9) and adore Studio Ghibli. Also, I'm surprised to admit that Madoka is becoming a favorite of mine. I just bought the two bluray volumes and really enjoyed what I've seen so far. Magical girl animes are usually ...
