Re: "add FileCurrentScreenshot()"/"FileTakeScreenshot command results in blank screen 7.1.3

Quick question. If I remove out the zoom will it matter (other than the screenshot being huge)?

Re: "FileTakeScreenshot/"add FileCurrentScreenshot()" command not working in 7.1.3

Um, I think that because there's a "gap" between the "FileTakeScreenshot" and "add FileCurrentScreenshot()" commands that it's not working? This is my screens.rpy code (this was originally built in 6.16): init python: def entername(input_text): global firstname firstname = input_text init: $ style.i...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.3 Released

Uh... this is the code I had. Maybe I'm just using a bad format or bad code... The intention is to have an input screen that's animated. Since I actualyl need it to animate AFTER the person inputs their name, I opted to use a screenshot of the screen to do the animation. This code still works in Ren...

Re: Encyclopaedia / Bestiary Framework

Hi, I have a few questions 1) Can I use the hyperlink to jump from one entry to another? Like for example "George Washington is the President of the USA", and the the "USA" is a hyperlink to another entry about USA. 2) Can the entry buttons in the index show more than one line? For example, I want t...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.3 Released

The custom caret animation freeze that I had has been resolved, but the "FileScreenshot" issue is not. I'm wondering if there's something about Ren'py that prohibits "FileTakeScreenshot" to be activated via a keypress. My code looks like this: key "input_enter" action [FileTakeScreenshot(), Return()...

Re: "add FileCurrentScreenshot()"/"FileTakeScreenshot command not working in 7.1.3

Problem is still happening. Is it because you simply can't do FileTakeScreenshot by the press of keyboard? What I'm seeing: https://66.media.tumblr.com/6de8581aa2b91e3e5e2cb4ddc6bb6b0b/tumblr_inline_pjcyxzoUDW1r3kenu_540.png What I SHOULD be seeing (screenshot from project launched with Renpy 6.99.1...

Re: "add FileCurrentScreenshot()" command not working in 7.1?

Ack, darnit. How would I submit a bug report?
In the meantime, how should I use the renpy.take_screenshot command in my case?

Re: "add FileCurrentScreenshot()" command not working in 7.1?

Well... This is what I wrote: key "input_enter" action [FileTakeScreenshot(), Return()] screen rolls: add FileCurrentScreenshot() add "rollup2" And unfortunately this happens: https://78.media.tumblr.com/09626e2d3ced8c02709dc585f39304a2/tumblr_inline_pf76l72KVa1r3kenu_540.png The "rollup2" bit DOES ...

Re: Ren'Py 7.1.0 Released

@Pytom: It does run on 7.1. The problem is I'm trying to use the old Renpy to run the game again, and this happens: https://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=51783 I made a custom caret for my input screen and it's not animating properly in the newer engine builds, so I was thinking of e...

Re: "add FileCurrentScreenshot()" command not working in 7.1?

Then i guess something else is wrong. I copy-pasted the code straight fro the tutorial, except for positioning and file names.

Whatever's happening, the screenshot that was supposed to becomw the screen's bckground is not showing, but everything else on the screen do.

Oh, I see! I fixed it, thanks.

ETA: What if I want to add the entries one by one? Do I use "locked = True" or do I add the entry one by one in the script
