Re: Stop SOPA - USA members, please read
Far better for Congress to oppose the bill to begin with, even if all our new congressional votes against SOPA are politicians that are freaking out about losing re-election votes from the public. Same thought ran through my mind yesterday. I was actually concerned that signing the petitions agains...

Re: Stop SOPA - USA members, please read
It could realistically prevent people outside the U.S. from conducting business with other people outside the U.S. because large parts of the internet run on and over U.S. based servers. Heavens, you're right. I'm glad so many people helped. ^_^ quite a few people over here have started to speculat...

Re: Stop SOPA - USA members, please read
Heavens, what a scare. I'm so glad that the voices of the people got through to some of their voted leaders in this brief moment. It really touched me to see the members of other nations taking a stand for our freedoms as well.

Re: 3D Rendering Advice
Okeypokey. I think it would only be wise to dip my fingers in all these programs, see which one works best for me. I know that everyone who uses 3D rendering software has their favorite program, and I'm really glad you all shared yours with me. ^-^ Off to go exploring then.

Re: 3D Rendering Advice
Oh, wow, thank you both for being so willing to share your knowledge! I'm excited to try these out, especially some of those 3-year trial versions. I am a student currently, so learning as much as I can before getting out into the field would be most beneficial. Especially since the 3D classes at my...

3D Rendering Advice
Hi all! I've always been a 2D artist, but I want to try my hand at rendering some 3D characters. Do you have any reliable 3D rendering software or tutorials you could recommend?
Thanks much!

Re: Heartstring Bugs [dating sim, otome]
Sweet! I'm so glad you put this up As always, I love the hair of your characters. My heavens....the shading is very good. And your backgrounds are really colorful, but don't look like they will distract from the characters when you put them together in the VN. Nice job

Re: The Dark Caravan Visual Novel
Thank you for the recommendations, Kindred87! :) I will definitely look into these once the holidays are over. I'm pretty sure I can incorporate them into MAGIX. I'm curious about how you found out about these programs. I wasn't sure how many folks around here liked putting together ethnic music for...

Re: The Dark Caravan Visual Novel
VST's if its possible. Recordings also are welcome. I found someone who would be willing to play the haegeum for me (Korean fiddle), as long as I can give them music to play. I've been using MAGIX MusicMaker as my main music-building program, and it allows me to add live recordings to rhythm tracks....

Re: The Dark Caravan Visual Novel
@Gekiganwin: I know that if I reveal why the MC is asked to free the prisoners, it would reveal too much, heh. Once I get the rest of the script done it will be so much easier to write a synopsis that will be intriguing and informative for the players. The characters living in separate worlds is als...

The Dark Caravan Visual Novel
Aw heck, I should go ahead and put this up. I've been working on building this game for a while now. Here's a promotional video which gives you a taste of the art and music for The Dark Caravan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP-x_81kVs0 I'm building an original soundtrack, and right now I've got ab...
