Re: Worst or most disappointing game you ever bought
Another disappointment was Exodus Guilty, the AnimePlay DVD from Hirameki. Ugh. Then I shouldn't have bought the trilogy. Only played some 30 mins so far... The worst I can remember was Anne McCaffrey's Freedom - First Resistance . Boring. Also Police Quest IV: Open Season was pretty bad. Completel...

You could use the Kerkythea raytracer for SketchUp scenes.

Re: Heart of Fire
Nice game, I liked the story and the old-school feel. But still plenty of bugs... "name 'main_menu' is not defined" and "list.remove(x): x not in list" when trying to sell items. Also, the items found cannot be used since they never appear in the list (except when trying to sell items). And as a sma...

Re: MIDI keyboard players(people)
I don't have a MIDI keyboard, myself (otherwise this would be a lot easier). Anyone know of a good place to get one? It might help if you told where you are living. For Europe, I've been happily ordering from Germany's Thomann and Musik-Service . Or consider getting one used - since you're not inte...

Hmmm, for me, the Engrish and the logo dissolving into static are a hint that
this thing is an April fool joke.

Re: Audio Composition Dumpage Circle! Show your inspiration ^^
There have been a couple of tracks that loop perfectly in my sound software and yet that can't be repeated in Ren'Py. In my experience, if the loop is perfect as such, then it will also play perfectly in Ren'Py. The "sound software" (= sequencer?) you use might be the culprit. In the end, the wav/o...

Re: Cyberlin - work in progress
Yes, you can define the lines yourself. Plus I'm shrinking the picture, so the lines get even thinner. Some preset lines simulate sketching strokes, very nice (see attachment) - I can see myself using them for my next (less serious) VN.

Re: Cyberlin - work in progress
Small update - I've been fighting with backgrounds for a long time now and decided to discard both my Inkscape-based ones and the photograph-based ones. I just couldn't seem to get the atmosphere right, and then luckily (thanks to this forum) stumbled over SketchUp , which gave me the exact result I...
