Re: How do you get people interested in your project?
An actual website helps. It doesn't need to be fancy or hosted on it's own domain, just a nice simple page somewhere that tells me what your project is and why I should care. Regular updates that aren't just 'I GUESS YOU THOUGHT I WAS DEAD' - once thing that's always helped me is to always be two up...

Re: My life after death ( G x B)
Sounds familiar. Also, once piece of advice I'll give you is to drop the over-abundance of '......'. They're not adding any dramatic tension through extending a wait in dialogue here (and even then, the convention is ...) and instead just makes it look more like you're rambling and / or wasting spa...

Re: Basic Tips for a Newbie
Flash? Jeeze, am I the only one who just loops a series of jpegs for my animations, hahaah? Probably, because that's Not A Very Good Way To Do It™ at all . You're basically doing extremely slow, uncompressed video with none of the real advantages that using an actual video brings. It'll probably be...

Re: Argh - I´m one of those damn polemics
Sounds more like you're fishing for attention more than fishing for any sort of worthwhile argument. I too fail to see the point of this topic other than 'look at me, I have a big word to call what I do, isn't that kawaii uguu~~~!'.

Re: Kickstarter - crowd funding for game development
Note that you have to be in America (that is, have a valid US address, social security number, all that) in order to qualify for a Kickstarter project. It's a nice idea, but remember that it's basically a glorified lump-sum pre-order system - it's all or nothing, even if you miss out by $5.

Re: Coloring a bridge
Yes, it's a webforum. But this is not a normal webforum, this is Lemmasoft. We don't act like the scums of the internet here, talking to everyone in a snide and rude manner. There's a little thing called "Lemmasoft spirit", you should look into it. http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1...

Re: Coloring a bridge
This may be a forum but that does not mean you can act like you would on a normal forum. my avatar's expression is quite appropriate here It's a web forum. If you don't want people to comment on things, then you shouldn't post it on a web forum. I thought my criticism was perfectly valid and you pr...

lol ok
Seriously though, wouldn't passing these images around be better suited via PM or Dropbox or anything? You can't honestly expect to just dump images and hope that someone does a drive-by colouring.

Re: Sound Effects
Every town has a glut of aspiring musicians. Find some friendly ones, borrow their microphones (and the musicians if they're into sound engineering / want producer credits / are stoned / are bored / are all of the previous) and foley the things you want yourself. It's not as hard as you think it is ...

Why? It's only been a day and you've no danger of this falling off the front page any time soon. It's poor form to bump a WIP when you don't have any progress to show.

There are universal codes for different languages - I'd be happy to be able to wrap statements in tags for one of these (preferably IETF).

Re: Feature request for Ren'Py 7.00: support for motion con
Motion control is incredibly useful for making applications available to disabled gamers or those with physical impairments that otherwise make it difficult to use a traditional keyboard and mouse combination. It's also suited for public performance and display of games - giving gamers a keyboard / ...

Re: Twitter
Everyday, I live in perpetual fear that I might accidentally press the wrong button and tweet a photo of me in my underwear and destroy the hard won moemoe professional career I built up for myself here. Yeah the shortcut for that is like right next to 'post' in Tweetdeck. more like tweet dick amir...
