Well, every 'host' program can import midi, notes will just put themself on the pianoroll.
So as long as you can export midi, it works !

As I said on Skype, you have the great and free Macaw. But you have a "piano roll" to put the notes, so it could be not what you're familiar with. On the other side, things like Anvil Studio have a sheet music style but give you midi tracks. Hmm you could make your midi tracks on a sheet music style...
