Re: Lost Dreams [WIP- BxB Novel][Update 6/27]

Well, Strawberry Panic is about a girls-only school filled with lesbians. I really recommend it for yuri-lovers. It's a parody, but it's really good for a parody.

Re: How Much Do Indie PC Devs Make Anyways?

Notch, the creator of Minecraft, being one such example of someone doing very well.
I don't know how much costs he has but he's already sold millions of copies at $10 and $15 a piece.
Suffice to say, indie games get rewarded for the quality of the gameplay instead of brand name.

Re: Sacred Sand [BxB] [WIP]

Oh dear, I want the girl :D
Also, I thought Rhael was a girl the first time I saw him. This is not a bad thing ;)
But yeah, I keep saying I don't like BxB games but people on these forums keep making interesting games. I'm keeping an eye on this.

Re: Art for the talentless: Mr Stickman

Perhaps you're looking at professional tablet and commercial version of Photoshop price tag. Both are expensive so I completely understand :) Try to take a look at Wacom site (varied from country to country/where you live, so just google for the website address, mine is Asia-Pacific btw). Wacom Bam...

Re: Art for the talentless: Mr Stickman

You find it strange to pay for stuff like hobbies? It's normal for people to spend lots of money for their non-profession things, namely their hobbies. Yeah, I guess you're right if you look at it like that. To me, a drawing tablet seemed more like professional equipment, and I would never pay €500...

Re: That Cheap and Sacred Thing - Drama/Sci-fi

I'm very glad to hear that you saw the gayness there, because no one really mentioned it so far and I was kind of afraid that I had imagined it all there. I mean, I can quote you all the gay lines from the game but I don't know how much it matters if no one picks up on it. Har har, I see gayness be...

Oooh, can you make GxG :D
I don't really care as long as the story is good but I'm a yuri fanboy so that's how I imagined the relationship between Ellie and Autumn ;)

Re: What is with the lack of interest in BxB games ;=;?

I feel like a black sheep, being a girl into BxG... I've never actually seen the point of yaoi. Don't feel alone! I'm a girl, but I always tend to play BxG games over GxB ones. And I'm attracted to guys :p That said, BxB, BxG, GxB... whatever it is doesn't matter to me. If the game grabs me with an...

Re: The LCPANES Terminal

Nothing personal but not only isn't this particular project made with Ren'Py, but you say you don't want to use other people's engines. I'm probably misunderstanding, but Ren'Py is also an engine. I don't think you'll have much use on the Ren'Py-specific forums. Of course, I'm not a mod so I'm leavi...

Re: The LCPANES Terminal

Oh my, it's been long since I've actually seen one of these. I don't know whether this project belongs in these forums though. It's not exactly a visual novel, like Taleweaver said.

Re: Art for the talentless: Mr Stickman

I'm going to say that drawing/creating anime art through various photoshop/whatever-photo-editing-software-of-your-choice methods isn't as hard as it might seem. Actually, I think drawing digitally might be the problem. I don't know what my problem is, but I can't draw a straight line when using a ...

Re: Brown vs EMA

There should already be rules in place for this. I mean, the game is 18+, which means you're not supposed to sell those games to minor. Instead of making more rules, how about we let adults be resposible for a change and not buy those games for kids. Don't people have common sense anymore?

Armor Nick's art evolution thread

Hey everyone As you will see in this post, I'm a terrible artist. However, I'm also afraid to depend on anyone to do my art for me. So, I'm trying all kinds of things to fuel the visual part of my visual novel(s). Previously, I showcased some oldschool rpg sprites. Next in my eccentric quest for a s...
