Re: Recruiting an Editor (When the Bells Toll)

When the Bells Toll is a collaborative project, and I wish to invite the community to participate. Payment is not out of the question either. If the work-dynamics function well, I am willing to negotiate upwards to $150 for the job. However, I want to see that the person cares about the project fir...

Re: I'm not a writer. ಠ_ಠ

My writing is extremely boring.I don't think anyone would enjoy playing a game with my style of writing, so although I can easily map out dialogue and plot, my actual script comes short of satisfactory. I also stumble across grammatical errors quite often. You can always fix the errors when you're ...

Re: Crest's Sketchbook

Thank you SimonLayton! Here's your request. I really liked how the coloring turned out so I polished it a little bit :3 Kinda played with the headset before I settled with the chrome-ish material. I certainly had fun drawing this, hope you like it ^^ I'M INTERNALLY SCREAMING THANK YOU SO MUCH, *GRA...

Re: Editor, Proofreader and Researcher for hire!

I've worked with RheaZeamoll for a long time, and I can vouch that she's good at her job. But take my testimony with a grain of salt, since I've known her for years and worked with her closely. Rhea is reliable, thorough, and when I'm unsure of something, especially when it comes to fact-checking, r...

If you're still okay with requests, can you do this character? Feel free to experiment, play around, or butcher him as much as you want, s'long as you have fun.

How do you pay your writer?

The topic title says pretty much everything, but this is particularly for paid writers and game developers who pay their writers, unless they're the writer themselves. Anyone can answer, though. I have a short story under consideration in a speculative magazine, and the magazines usually pay cents p...

Re: Guestbook

Hello! :) I'm Rhea, but also go by Hazelle or reginacorylus, so if I misaddress myself, you know who to blame! xD I'm from Sri Lanka, (are there any other lions around here? ;o;) and I'm a veterinary student irl, and a writer, editor, artist and a daydreamer with big dreams of taking over the world...

Re: Cooperation with proofreader

There are loads of proofreaders and editors in this forum who are willing to volunteer to clean up a work for free. It doesn't matter if there's a lot of mistakes. It's their job. Proofreaders and editors have varying styles of doing their work, but they usually do it a word document to redline and/...

I like your style! Sadly, I don't have a project that features sprites*. Hope you'll find a project!

Re: Fairy tale within a story?

I say go for it, as long as the fairy tales have something to do with the main story. :)

Your fairy tales can be inspired by other existing ones, but you can add lighter or darker touches if you want. Fairy tales, in some way, are simple stories. Maybe you'll think of one, eventually.

Re: Untitled Monster Girl Novel (Monster Girl x Monster Girl

Oooooooh I like this idea a lot. Are small animals and insects the only ones who evolved into humanoid creatures? Thank you! But to answer your question, the plan for now involves having the rest of the cast consist of a beetle girl, a flying squirrel girl, and a bat girl. More may be added as deve...

Re: I'm having trouble deciding the opening...

Hi hello, I'm no expert but I hope you don't mind if I throw in a few cents. "I glanced around. Weird... I could've sworn I heard something..." (If this is the true opening of the story, then it's not really an eye-catcher, and it won't really draw in readers/players. Consider adding more details. S...
