YouTube is blocked!

I can’t believe it! In my country, YouTube is blocked just because of a single movie that I even never watch. Surely you know that controversial movie Fitna. Because of that, several movies sharing blog/site is blocked (I don’t know if it’s temporary or permanent but I hope they won’t forget to unbl...

Re: The SunRiders

I like Raidaa no Asahi but I think I'll like Sun Riders more. The characters are more well-drawn and they are more cute (it seems you better at drawing girls than boys ^_^). The mecha is quite cool. Is everybody got their own unique mecha? I hope the bosses' mechas are big and badass monsters! Do yo...

Re: Do you create a VN for your or others satisfaction?

Now that you said it, I think I always make what I want to make. I never think about others (viewers, markets, or other anyone else). But I have no shame in doing so, even if you can that I'm egoist. Indeed I create for the sake of fun but that doesn't mean I create it wishy-washy. When I go for som...

Re: Gundam 00

Talking about realistic, have you watch Starship Operators? As far as I know, it is one of the most realistic war-strategy anime. In the anime, the main charas group, being only an insurgent group, striving to have attention of bigger group (for support) like Earth Alliance. The battle only happens ...

Re: Gundam 00

Patlabor, yes I love them.

But Patlabor only shows urban/peace condition. I want to watch a war anime/movie one, where logistic, strategy, deployment, constant maintenance (and other issues) become important matters.

Re: Gundam 00

Whatever the reason is, fingers are not always a good thing. Having 5 delicate fingers shooting a heavy caliber weapon continuously will break them sooner or later. Punching enemy's armor will likely get your mecha's fingers busted up for good. Unlike human finger, mecha finger must be maintained wi...

Re: Gundam 00

One day I'm off from the forum and look what we got here. The discussion has grown into a heat battle. Here's my thought : MAKE IT COOL OR REALISTIC? When we're making a movie (or manga or anything), it doesn't need to be extremely realistic. We only need it to be cool. The audience only need it to ...

Re: Gundam 00

There has been a discussion about this somewhere, it was very interesting. Of course there a pro in making a humanoid mecha as a war machine, but weighing the cons, (for me) it is a big NO to make any kind of humanoid mecha in a military application, especially if you want to make a war machine. In ...

Re: Gundam 00

If we talk about realism, we won't be making any humanoid mecha to built a war machine. It would be far too impractical, cost-inefficient, and we all know that human body is not built for any combat purpose. I still haven't watch Gundam 00 (only 4 first episodes) but there could be explosion in spac...

Re: Gundam 00

If you want to be very-realistic, then there won't be any Gundam (or any Humanoid Mecha in that matter).

Re: game mechanics

Love Hina game in GBA, which very similar to VN (like almost all do) uses an on-screen timer when the player is offered choices. The screen displaying the choices and there are several lighted bubbles circling them. The bubbles goes off one by one indicating the time is running out. If the time runs...

Re: Gundam 00

Speaking of Gundam 00, Gundam 00 is the first gundam that appear in HD format. I understand the basic of making a HD movie (just use a HD camera), but how to make a HD anime? Is there any changes in drawing techniques/media?

Sorry if my question is a bit out of the topic.

Re: À Mon Seul Désir: Melodies of a Fairytale

What kind of tool would you use? Renpy or Game Maker? If you want to make it like RPG, why don't you use RPG Maker XP (or 2000/3)? RPG Maker XP is better at resolution and displaying graphics (and keeping/locking your sources). It also uses more format (JPEG, PNG, MP3, MID, etc).

Re: Aquae ~Crystal Clear Waters~

I prefer BOTH, but since I think making a video is harder then only a demo is also fine. If I must choose between video and demo, then it is demo. But both is definitely better.

Story Update!!

Sorry it took so long for updates. My (self-made) tracing desk is broken so I'm going to fix it up first before start uploading the pictures. The story revolves around Lad's efforts to find his "long" lost childhood girlfriend. A cliche, yeah I know. In the era of technology, how can someone lost in...
