Re: The indie game review show (Lookie here)

Re: Amateur VN writer's Critique Group
I don't get it. What's wrong with the forums here?
Splitting up an already tiny niche of people into an even smaller community does not sound like a wise idea.

Re: Cell Shading
You'll have to find a way to simplify it, or find an existing character with fluff and see how it's done.
Even straight hair had to be simplified, cartooned from an existing model with real, detailed, straight hair.

Your example is too intimidating.
Try to find a simpler example so that everyone doesn't take two steps back and run out the back door as soon as they see your thread load.

Re: Help with your Japanese game titles.
If you don't live in Japan and can't even write proper Japanese, you shouldn't write about Japan. Since no one ever listens to the former advice, at least avoid having a Japanese title. The rest of your game doesn't have any Japanese in it, so why should the title be any different? I'm gonna have t...

Re: Balance between comedy and seriousness?
I read everything I write out loud.
If I'm being too serious or funny it's pretty apparent when I'm in the reading process.
I encourage many of you (or ask a friend) to read your stories or dialogues out loud before releasing your work to the public.
