Re: Chris and Claire [BxB][BxG][Mystery]
You really made me interested, since I just love mystery. You say that anyone who wants is free to help, but what kind of help do you need?

Re: Our Crossing Paths [GxB][Drama/Romance/AU] UPDATE (5/6)
Okay, I'm not an artist, but I think that it's better for beginners to draw anathomy until they hands hurt. Espcially General Walter, his head is too big and his ear is in wrong place. Liliana's head is moved to forward from neck and there's something odd with Kamille's hips. I'm not saying this bec...

Re: Inspiration for Works
I get my inspiration from three sources. 1. I draw or rather scribble when I'm bored and suddenly a wild character appears. I'm terrible at drawing but as long as I can see where something has hands and legs I can create a story for it. Then I build the world and the plot. When I get this sort of in...

Re: Otome Game Question- How soon do you want to be on a "pa
It depends on if your game is purely otome or not. I believe it should take some time to get on a perticular path, but I'm writing a fantasy involving politics. If there's a story except all this love, it can get longer, mostly because the obtainable guys would be somehow involved in the plot and th...

Re: Two routes or three?
They may not like it... but hey, isn't that the reason for making different routes? If they're not okay with it, there are two other paths for them. If you want to add another path, do it it's your game. Simple as that.

Re: De-motivation and Opinion
The point of constructive critique is for you to understand possible flaws of your work, not to hurt you. When you notice that someone is simply offending you, there's no point in reading/hearing them out. When I get critisized and I really, really cannot agree with what I was said I form a defensiv...

Looking for an editor [CLOSED]
I'm looking for an editor for my project The Cave (otome, fantasy, politics) I'd like to find a person who'd look for spelling and grammar mistakes since I'm not a native english speaker as well as search for plot holes and give me some advices when it comes to writing. I'm looking for a native engl...

Re: Protagonists that you would appreciate
Lately all protagonists I see have a strong will and some other features, not as important. They usually are normal people, not especially gifted, but they are able to achieve their objectives because of their determination... and I hate that. I get that they are supposed to teach the reader to not ...

Re: Dealing with your team
Thanks, I think I get it now and working in team doesn't seem as difficult as it did at first sight. My point is mainly that I treat my stories very personal and care for my characters, but I always thought that's what differs an artist from a craftsmith. Since my writing is still poor I couldn't be...

Dealing with your team
I may a writer with some programming skills so I team up with an artist. I may have every skill I need except for programming and I find myself a programmer. I may also be a part of a bigger writing team. The point is - how to work in team with people you don't know? How to explain them what you exp...

Re: Summer Found Me [GxB][Slice of life]
OK, so first I have to say that this demo is very good from technique point of view, but then it gets worse. Of course don't be offended, but it surely has it flaws. I understand that Devlin is love interest, but the way he talks to the protagonist is just wrong. I am fully aware how love-hate or te...

Re: about villains/antagonists/whathaveyou
I simply don't create villains. There are people that for a reason have to fight on opposite sides, but both have some nice characters and violent/greedy/everything that is bad guys. And personally, I'm in team Lannister and I don't consider them evil. They're all perfect example of well created ant...

Re: JustAnother Concept/Story Thread
Just as jjbproductions said, it would be the best for you to know what caused this poor state of Earth. Writing in poorly developed universe often leads to creating plot holes. Also, consider the fact that post-apocalypse genre is usually used for a reason, not just because it's dramatic. It's to wa...

Re: Character Names: How to decide
Of course the most important thing is that the name matches the setting, as Ryouko said. I like to give my character meaningful names from time to time, but it doesn't mean every name has to have a story behind it. Calling your characters after someone is a good and easy way.
