Re: Is it possible...

Okay so I'm having issues with my code. I get this error whenever I try to add a second item to my mixing pot. It says: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While running game code: File "game/script.rpy", line 92, in script call screen send_detective_screen Exception: ui.interact called w...

Re: Is it possible...

Thank you for sending me the link. However, now I'm confused again. I see how it's set up in the example, but it only lets me drop one item. I want to be able to drop more and then confirm the drops... Also the drops are going to depend on the inventory. Is there a way to write an if else statement?

Is it possible...

I remember reading somewhere that there is a click and drag function in renpy, but I don't remember where the information was to start something like that up. I'm creating a crafting game where the player makes potions and salves. I want players to be able to drag things from their side inventory in...

Re: Player's hands on the screen

It's been done, though it's still a little creepy in my own opinion.

Re: Romance Options

I think what bothers me more is the host of unrealistic relations. Making a character gay just to fan service kind of breaks the story for me. I have nothing wrong with homosexuality. DA 2 especially didn't have many female relationships, don't know why because the game itself carters to males then ...

Re: Should there be choices if there's only one love interes

I think so, yes. Even if the same choices lead to the same conversation or slight variations. It doesn't have to lead to a completely different ending, just gives the player a chance to be well...more in control. I mean when I put a persona on a girl I don't want to sound like a sweet mouse all the ...

Re: [solved]Issues with Inventory

^^ Yeah, I'm sure there are more then one way to make things work. The hboxes sounds like an interesting process, but I have no idea where to start. I ended up just making the grid on my own through positions. I've got a limited inventory so it works out. ^^

Re: Issues with Inventory

I actually figured a system out that works great. I didn't have to use the ui grid after all. It just takes a bunch of variables and if else statements.

[solved]Issues with Inventory

I'm using the wiki inventory system as a base to create my own inventory. Though the gold system went okay, I'm having issues with positioning and getting my head around how to use images with text. The default code from wiki is text based, and I want to go more visual. I want to make it so that whe...

Re: Re: [WIP] Maid of Midsummer - UPDATED JULY 13th, '11

This game looks well done, I'm excited to see the future progress. Are you planning on implementing a dress changer for going out? I think it would interesting to do something like that.
