Umm, I think you may need to read up a little more on the coding part. Just check out the documentation and The Question code. Spacing is very important in Python if you have extra spaces it won't read properly. Your error was because there was an extra space between the $ and the variable name. The...

So this main character is basically a prostitue for selling his body (not nessisarily sex). It sounds like an interesting concept. Is Jericho not going to have a sprite?

Looks interesting. Sadly Roman was the name of my friend's baby who passed away. I'll still give it a try! It was just cool to see that the name used. It's uncommon where I'm from.

Is it my perspective or do the backgrounds seem to be a little high behind the characters in the previews? I haven't played the demo just yet, but it looks like you're making good progress. I'm interested in seeing the finished project. :)

They do, and they're done through just the writing and not visual. It would take a lot of time and effort for a character to actually be able to speak sign language, because you'd have to have an artist draw them all out individually.
