Re: Apology project: Medieval mystery

I see. Just one thing, though... Daemon is on Megaupload which blocks my country. -__-;; Any idea where else I could get it? :)

Oh nvm... it's on Cnet.com -__-;; <--- Bakayaro

Re: The Morane Crisis

Played a bit so far. Interesting and cool style of music. Very pretty visuals too. The style is kinda cool and I really like the choice of fonts too. I particularly like the "painted' backgrounds. I hope I don't come across as ignorant/hypocritical since my English isn't always at my best. I often l...

Re: How Acceptable is Rape in Games?

I'm female and I don't really think that rape in games = bad. I remember hearing about some rape scene(s) in a game called The Witcher. Interestingly, why is no one complaining about that? Also, as someone who used to be easily prone to violence and if not, addictive kinda habits... I'll state this....

Re: Ever 17

Hmmm... I finished playing this a few years ago. I actually read everything except for that obscure "photo" scenario. Plus: most parts of the story were really good. I enjoyed the character relations and how they formed over the few days where a group of people were forced to co-operate and interact...

Hmmm... a work by the person who did Metropolitan Blues? Cool... strange how life always leads you to unknown paths. :)

Re: Air Pressure

Interesting... I finished this yesterday and I thought that the girl was really dysfunctional in a sense. That was when I realized there was something really odd going on.

And not to mention the protagonist's attachment to her... which was kinda unhealthy.

Re: Forcing 85hz refresh rate onto Ever17 full screen

Oh now I've got another question to ask... how do I force 800x600 mode onto the game screen? Everything looks stretched... no idea what's going on. Sorry for the newbie questions... Edit: looked at a number of screen resolution programs already but all focus around forcing resolutions onto Wi...

Re: Forcing 85hz refresh rate onto Ever17 full screen

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I even tried switching to 800x600 and setting 85hz resolution but that didn't work. I guess 60 hz is the standard reso of the full screen game... oh well. :/ I'll give the Directx method a shot and see if it works. If that doesn't, windowed mode it is then. :P Edit:...

Forcing 85hz refresh rate onto Ever17 full screen

Hi, has anyone ever tried playing Ever17 in full screen? I'm still using a CRT and how do I force a 85 hz refresh rate onto the game?

I tried using Powerstrip but that program locked up my computer before I could try and use it. :(

Re: Metropolitan Blues - Released

There's a walkthrough here , which shows how the various sections of the game are structured. Metropolitan Blues is quite an unusual game, due to the nature of the protagonist, and how the choices are structured, to take the player down paths with different themes (loneliness, purpose, identity). I...

Re: Metropolitan Blues - Released

Playing this game now... it's certainly not bad although I felt a little disconnected 'cos the protagonist was going on and on about himself and then you get hit with nothing but observations about her. That, I feel, is more like a text dump than an evolving narrative cum dialogue game. I'd have pre...

Re: Galaxy angel in english.

It also seems that most players don't want to read for lengthy periods of time (pure visual novels don't seem to interest them any more than hybrids). I think it's very telling of many societies these days: many don't even read books anymore and instead, demand information to be presented in short ...
