Re: Would you say a visual novel 'needs' pictures of charact

I've yet to find someone to create sprites for me, so I've basically just decided to go without them. It seems that you feel like you want to have sprites in your work, but because you can't find someone to do this right now, you're resorting to creating the novel without sprites. I believe you sho...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Starting a t-shirt sportswear shop with my family. I'll have more free time off my other work I tolerated, working part time there, but I'll be busy at the store. A different change of pace, but I'm gonna make it work.

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

I'm starting to try and notice my reactions to certain situations at work. There are many times in which I go straight for the 'flight' in the "fight or flight" response when the situation starts seeming out of control. I unconsciously make myself weak, and makes others think I'm weak just...

Re: Your thoughts on my storylines

Any storyline can be "good" as long as it has good writing. But a lot of those are very similar and could potentially be the same story. If you're going to brainstorm, try switching it up a little and not sticking to a single idea. For example, what if it was a 19th century city instead o...

Your thoughts on my storylines

As I'm reading through the writing novels for dummies, one of the top-level approaches to writing starts with writing a storyline. I've been brainstorming a storyline, though I'd like opinions as to any you consider to be any good, or if none at all. A. A high school girl returns to a futuristic cit...

Re: A Shadow's Reflection [DEMO]

I was surprised when
You used that sprite for ??? I'm glad that someone can make better use of these assets, especially the creepy face. Azure always makes the best creepy stalker face commissions haha.
I think its going in the right direction. *edit you already answered when you'd complete it.

Re: Anyone with novel adaptation experience?

Yes, I have a good feeling that I want to make a novel first and foremost. Thank you guys for your input! Most people probably tend to write one or the other. There might be an exception in Japan since light novels are so similar. It's been done in Japan, and I wish to think this type of occurrence ...

Anyone with novel adaptation experience?

I'm considering on going the plan of writing my first novel before completing a visual novel adaptation. My logic is that if the writing and story has been scrutinized enough to be a complete novel, I'd be able to have an easier time pitching the idea to an editor and artist to help adapt the novel....

Re: A Tale of a Meeting [Sci-fi][Short]

Just came across this; downloaded it and played through. Interesting and well done, but short - I would be very interested in seeing an expanded tale. If you were to do more of it, would it be a VN or KN? Thanks for reading! It would most likely be a Kinetic Novel, but I may change my mind. As well...

I'm going to be employed again! At least I'll worry about expenses less now, plus it doesn't hurt to actually do something now instead of sitting around.

Re: Updated 7/13/13: The Outbreak Episode 1 v2.0 [Kinetic No

@dorne: Thanks for checking it out; glad you liked the changes. Just curious, did you try it out on an Android phone or a tablet? Lastly, I suggest using headphones when playing on Android devices to hear all sound effects and music clearly. I used an android phone, Samsung Galaxy Nexus. And yes I ...

Tried the android version. I noticed the music and sound effects, it definitely added a cinematic feel to it. The character avatars did help in characterizing who is who, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Will be waiting for the next installments!

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

Got into a car accident for the first time. It was surreal. Nobody was hurt but it was my fault. Damages I'm not sure but when I went back home I felt scared my car couldn't make it. Plus the burning smell. I currently do not have a job since June, and my family is gaining some debt, albeit was ok....
