Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
If your throat is swollen that much... that really isn't good... Someone I know IRL had this problem recently and if I remember correctly, it ended in a trip to the ER to get an antibiotics injection. Do you have a fever? If you can't even sleep without choking you really need to be seen now and no...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
Within the past day my throat has gotten so messed up that swallowing anything is capable of keeping stuck, food, water, my own saliva. Woke up twice last night because I was choking. Feels like any minute something will suddenly get stuck and I'll start choking. I feel terrible and anxious. And I w...

...she can only stay human if she gets a guy to give their hear to her... Hear... Did you meant hair? Or maybe hearing? Yeah I know you meant heart. I'd be happy to help with backgrounds, GUI and coding. Haha, yeah, 'heart' was what I meant. I doubt I have really much coding per say needed fo...

Re: NanoReno - 2013
I would kind of like someone to help me in the art department for my NaNo, that way I can actually just focus fully on the writing of it. (Since I'm trying to push myself to my limit with it, it would actually be a huge help not to have to try to squeeze out art as well) Story in a nutshell is abou...

That is NaNoWriMo, which is what NaNoReNO is based off of.Fungii wrote:There's another NaNo in November? I guess I better keep myself open for that one then.
NaNoWriMo's goal is to write a 50,000 word, or more, novel.

Re: NanoReno - 2013
I always wondered what the heck this NanoReno was. I'm kind of excited to try it out. Is it OK to brainstorm ideas now or can you only do that in the month of march? You are free to brainstorm concepts ideas, outline, basic sketches. You basically just can't work on anything that will actually be f...

So excited for NaNo again this year. Hoping to finish again, or at least get close.
Can't wait for it to start.

Re: POV Switching, Where and How?
Pov switching is not unheard of, however it must be done carefully. Aside from having a kind of transition as people above have said, and each character must have a distinct voice, that is how they do it in actual novels and the same format will work here. However you should never head-hop (jump POV...

Re: Stylistic POV Jumping
Can you do the 3rd person pov and other povs like in a storymode? With that I mean what you often see in films that either: a.) it looks dreamlike (so slightly blurry) or b.) It looks black and white as if a memory or read from a text book I think that should help lessen confusion on as what pov is...

Stylistic POV Jumping
My question comes from the project I've been working on. (WIP soon maybe) Anyway, the prologue scene is from the MC Cole's POV. But afterwards, I was thinking of having the 1st Chapter be in Closed 3rd POV, once again Cole, my reasons for wanting to do this, are so you get to see the characters befo...

Re: are my characters cliche'? (a plea from a rookie)
As others have said, cliche is a terrible and poor comment about a plot or even characters. Since almost every story can be broken done into a group of about 10 or so plots. So plots themselves broken down into their simplest form are hardly ever not overused, since it is just almost impossible. Now...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...
I've been hard at work, doing an assignment for a writing course I'm in. The assignment took me a little over a full week of work. Just finished two days ago, so I was excited to get back to work on more fun projects, my vn. I only get to work on it for one day, before I bash my elbow, and pull a mu...

Re: Narration or Dialogue?
VN, or KN with only dialogue must have art that explains what is happening showing action and life, and strong dialogue that can carry the story, drama, tension, feeling. Otherwise is can come off dull and boring, maybe not at first, but it will after a while. That being said narration if done poorl...
