Re: My father's apprentice [VN] [Gothic Horror]
@Hazel-Bun hot papa, ahaha XD Too bad he's dead already! @Cobweb highfive, fellow horror lover! @pickle131 thank you! I prefer shorter VNs myself. Here're a couple of BGs. We still haven't decided on resolution. http://i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r725/Dotama_Studio/Office_zpsa3c4aed3.jpg http://i13...

Re: Tell a Demon (Asher City Series) [Urban Fantasy][Vampire
I'm so excited to see a continuation to Asher! Your traditional art is fantastic! Speaking about vampires, Asher didn't feel like a simple vampire story at all, it was much more complex than that. But I think most people nowadays associate them with angsty sparkly teens from TV. Someone likes it, so...

Re: My father's apprentice [VN] [Gothic Horror]
@AntiquedFae Thank you! Nice to hear that romance between two main characters isn't the most important thing! And yeah, you can already start feeling sorry for Agatha, nothing good will happen to her  Some updates! I redrew Peter's face. I didn't like the previous version much, he was too g...

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
@Armee Oh, I read Penpal too. How did you like it? I remember it left me with a sickening feeling but the story was very captivating! I couldn't put it down. What kind of horror do you prefer, more mystery or gore? If you want something subtle, I'd recommend you Willy by Robert Dunbar. It's one of m...

Re: My father's apprentice [VN] [Gothic Horror]
@Lyyli Thanks for the compliments! I love anything gothic too :D @xxstrangesoulxx Thank you so much! =3 This game will be free! Speaking about romance, I think each and every story is about love, just in different forms, like friendship for instance. So the characters of this novel won't be unfeelin...

Re: My father's apprentice [VN] [Gothic Horror]
Thank you for the feedback, guys! =3 @Green Glasses Girl I personally love the exploring aspect so it will most definitely take place in a game! @muniiam You have a point there, I think I really made her too short. But she's still supposed to be pretty small in comparison to Peter (he's like 1.9 m t...

My father's apprentice [VN] [Gothic Horror] Update Music
Hello there! I'm happy to share with you Dotama Studio's next VN project, http://i1364.photobucket.com/albums/r725/Dotama_Studio/Myfathersapprentice_zpsfd85134a.png When Agatha’s father dies, there’re no other relatives to take her in. Except Peter Amsel - a mysterious man, appointed to be Aggy’s l...

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
@Haze after your review I don’t think I'm going to read Dualed! Sounds like everything I don't like  I finally finished A Monster Calls! I could have finished it a long time ago, but the moment was always wrong! Once I was reading in the bus and almost teared up  After that I just kept pos...

Re: Kone's Stuff and Tests [bgs, gui, sprites, ect?]
Your art is beautiful! I admire your watercolor skills!
GUI is very stylish too but it doesn't suit watercolor BGs well in my opinion.
Watercolor sprites are very pretty, but it must be a real pain to clean them for a VN XD

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
@Haze I think we can use this topic to discuss any books we've read (as long as no one stops us :D) I'm halfway through A Monster Calls and it's already heartbreaking... I kinda like these type of books though  Good stories usually make you cry. Dualed sounds interesting but I'm mostly trying ...

The last book you read or what are you reading right now?
I noticed there's no topic for books discussion and it makes me sad :( I think, books have quite a lot in common with visual novels. Maybe even more than manga and anime? The last book I read was Daylight Saving by Edward Hogan. I liked the premise, but in fact it turned out to be very mediocre. Now...

Re: "Purity" in otome games
@Green Glasses Girl I completely agree! What does being successful have to do with being kissed? :/
I'm personally not a fan of otome or dating sims, but I think they're mostly made for young girls who don't have much experience so that way they feel closer to a main character.
