Re: The Knife of the Traitor [Comedy/Mystery/GXB][NaNoRenO 2
Huh. I actually enjoyed this. It was surprisingly interesting and different. The protag actually had a spine and while I still am not fond of otome, it was interesting to me. A bit of an emotional whiplash in terms of humor/drama, but not a terrible thing. Original art and very interesting set up th...

Re: Rising Angels (Now with 100% more demo)
Ehh, I have to put a disclaimer: My thoughts are meant to be taken with a grain of salt and are very much personal. I do admit to being hard to please. If I care enough to complain, that means I see potential. Well, here we go! PROS: Great art Original characters/Different characters Unique story CO...

Re: Locked-In [mystery, drama]
Very enjoyable, I love the polish and the original presentation of this visual novel. Very unique and original in my eyes, which made me unable to stop playing/reading until I got all endings. I would have loved a longer read, but it definitely was very well done.
I look forward to your next work.

Hmm, I really respect that stance. I'll definitely give this a few playthroughs and I have to tip my hat off to your determination and sheer ambition.

Re: DLsite 1st anniversary campaign:winning game gets Englis
Ehh, I still think MG could pick better companies...but it is what it is. Thing is, if this is what really sells...it is a darn shame. I can enjoy it from time to time, but I want to read a quality story too. All I wanted was just one good visual novel license from MG...1 out of 5 isn't that much to...

Re: Rising Angels (CatgirlxOthers)
A long title? Would it be perchance one that I am associated with? Ehh, nah. I haven't finished one of your visual novels yet (picked up and dropped them midway). That's probably why I'm not fond of the whole "tons of routes, lack of choices" because I'm not the type to read every route if I ...

Re: DLsite 1st anniversary campaign:winning game gets Englis
Sheesh. MG chooses those 5 visual novels when those with actual quality (Killer Queen, Dies Ires, SubaHibi, etc) are ignored. And they wonder why visual novels get such a bad reputation? I know nukiages are good for a quick buck, but at what cost? JAST's one license has probably a hundred times the ...

Re: [dischan] Juniper's Knot (2012)
Very well done. The art and the music made for a dark and intriguing atmosphere. The writing was strong and I admire the fact it took the challenge of both a difficult language style and a darker story to tell. Excellent--I can't wait for your next work now. Easily one of the better visual novels I'...

Narcissus is an excellent visual novel. Short, but very moving.

Re: Rising Angels (CatgirlxOthers)
Huh...interesting. Shame there aren't choices--you could look at a visual novel like Cinders and see how choices can be properly implemented to make a story far richer and better in terms of interactivity/gameplay. To link choices solely to romance is a darn shame because that avoids the tension/exc...

Re: Death Rule:The First Rule [Survival/Trust][DEMO]
Man, thanks for being so accepting about my opinion. That definitely deserves a bro-fist in return. I should probably admit, I have that love/hate view of Killer Queen as well (so really, I am being as harsh as I could be on your visual novel, which has quite a few positives as well.) I probably had...

Re: Endings: How Many is Enough?
Quantity doesn't matter, quality does.
Saya has only 3 endings and all 3 are exceptionally well done. Even better, they build off of each other and deepen the story. As many endings as it takes to have a well written story, that's the number needed.

Re: What was the first visual novel you played?
Narcissus--phenomenal writing and introduction to visual novels. It uses minimalistic art and writing style, but to maximum effect. I just had to read more visual novels after that one. I stumbled on that after a friend recommended it to me and I haven't looked back since.
