but it is my belief that the poor art that seems to appear in these fan-made visual novels dissuades people from being interested in them It is true that nicer art does have an appeal, but I don't believe this statement is true considering that Moonlight Walks, created by the very same dude who mad...

Welcome back. Yes, I still remember that post about your education difficulties. Its nice you got everything sorted out. But keep studying hard and don't waste all your time playing games! Education is still important!

The Blade command references seems pretty simple and straightforward to me. One command per line and probably works out for most VNs anyways. If I were more familiar about this engine, I would say its probably simpler than ren'py and more suited for the beginner. Ren'py tends to be a bit more progra...

To put this in perspective, assuming the game was played by 1 person each time it was downloaded, this means that .000317% of the world's population has played moonlight walks.
You should translate MW into as much languages as you can! Spread the game around the world!

Do you realize that's *exactly* who I usually fall in love with in such games? Haha, that can be soo true. I always find the non-main characters usually more interesting. I don't know why. The real problem with a rori romance is that she's a friend of your older sister's... and thus knows all your ...

Blade does not support Linux. Therefore, it cannot compare to ren'py! j/k

Not to mention they have a professional version for sale which means the free version is limited in functionality and the differences are listed in this forum:

How about giving PyTom the rights to sell your game on a ren'py bundle CD? Donation would help him cover some hosting costs, esp. since he hosts all the games for free.

I've actually played your game Love and War so I'm familiar with the characters. I agree with everyone else's opinion about Lavie's voice. Nice job! Ryan's voice on the otherhand threw me off. His voice was nothing like I would've imagined it to be.... not saying that the voice was bad, but I think ...

I'm also considering making a VNA sister site to the RAA, which would share the database and the like.
I like this idea, as during the past year or so, we found more diversity in the themes of the games being made. Though, I would prefer to have all of this in one single archive/website.

I can only compare this to Shira Oka, but it leaves a much better impression. Sorry, SO
I have to agree with this 101%. It sounds very professional. Ofcourse I'm only comparing the two demos, not the game itself.

Looking forward to the final release.
