Re: Meal ideas?

If you are tired, then maybe just look for food from other countries. Asian food from Japan or China. European food like german, french, english, italian or greek food. Arabian food, african food. Most ingredients can be found everywhere, there are even shops specialized on certain places (for examp...

Re: Get that thing off your chest... Now...

(When had been the last time I actually posted here...? Things have gone so stressed for a while...) Well, what is on my chest. First of, a lot of stress, because my final bachelor exam is upcoming, I have to prepare for my art education presentation and I seriously need to improve on my language sk...

Re: An event about a Japanese pro artist who copied another?

Well, everyone passed through copy-country. I still have my sketch books, filled with direct copies of poses and scenes, just with changed hair/clothes. It is one way to learn, you copy and - by trying to trace the original - (hopefully) learn how to do it. But it is sad, if there are people that ju...

Re: Will you be confused if....

Well, I also work with italics, if it's about thoughts. I find it unnecessary to put the name or a image to it, because it's usually still in first person. So a first person with special font and no name must be the Main Character, that would always be my first logical conclusion (but it would be fu...

Re: Best non japanese cartoons?

I totally, TOTALLY love the Powerpuff Girls *__* It's so deep, amusing and it makes fun of itself and cliches constantly. I also love Darkwing Duck and even bought the pack with all episodes and watch them regulary (I adore the episode with the love potion so much, Negaduck is just awesome in that o...

Re: Your first ever video game.

Super Mario World 2 o.o My first console was the very first Nintendo GameBoy. It was Grey and I got it with Super Mario World 2 and Tetris. I started with Mario, but never got past Level 5 back then, so I soon turned to Tetris, where I was more talented. My mother owns that game now and beats it reg...

Re: Auto-pilot mode for VNs

I guess, it could work out, especially in dating sims. Because the player usually gets to know all the dateable characters in either ending, so it would be easy for the player to choose a route without knowing the exact story or ending. Let's say, there is a boy named Eric that seems distant and ser...

Re: Game Decisions?

Well, I just played Gakuen Heaven again, and that game as (especially at the beginning) a ton of decisions. And they even define, which characters you will meet, so they are even important. But I think, decisions should fit the game and the story. Random decisions without any impact can be entertain...

Re: Would you play interactive Manga?

Well, I once made something that COULD be described like that ôo I create Mangas on a website and after some pre-defined scenes, I made the readers decide. I gave them 3 options and they were allowed to tell me their choice by comment. The option with the most votes won and I continued with that dec...

Re: Artists, what do you listen while drawing?

It depends on the mood I want to archieve. I have around 2GB of soundtracks to movies, video games and anime series. The only thing that is really important, is, that it has to be purely instrumental. But here a list of what I listen to often: Horror mood: Saw III, Obscure I, Fatal Frame II Dangerou...

Re: Anime is dying, ㅋㅋ..

Well, I'm not interested in actual Animes at all, I also don't "pirate" anything, but I still find those news funny. 1) Sorry, I don't want to insult anyone, but american dubbing is one of the worst I have ever heard. Looking at animes through out the centuries (I know dubbed animes from 1980 and an...

Re: End of the world and all that.

I found it quite amusing what happened in german TV. They showed the christmas episode of American Dad where the Anti-Christ appears and Stanley fights in Armaggedon. He dies and goes to heaven, where it looks just like in his life. Kind of suggesting that we all indeed did die, but can't realize it...

Re: End of the world and all that.

Now it's really true that the movie 2012 will be mark as Comedy. xD It is, anyway. The maya calendar ends in 2015, not today. Even Hollywood wants to make a Sequel to "2012" named "2015" (aren't they creative?). So be happy, you can worry again in September 2015, if you survive today :D It seems aw...

Re: Character Archetype Survey

I really had trouble... I chose the dangerous type in the end, but I really like the dangerous and the mysterious types equally. Well, in case that something like this would be possible with that website, I would have rather asked for a other way of judging. Something like "Arrange these types accor...
