I use Photoshop Elements8 and SAI. So mahbe you can try with your SAI and Photoshop CS6? :3 I don't really have lines in my BG, so I use Photoshop to make base color/shape/skew and rotate the sketch, SAI for shading (I don't follow the shading in the tut. below) and highlighting, Then back to photos...
