Re: Foreign Languages

My native language is Spanish as both my parents are Colombian, but I've lived in America my whole life and speak a fluent, American English. I also take Japanese classes and have tried learning French and German. As my dad travels frequently, he passes on some of his Italian and other such language...

Re: A scene from a WIP

Your characters are so, great. By the end I absolutely loved Victor (Because his types are so fun to write) and I even liked Camille, who I didn't at first. And it's rare to change my opinion so fast. I agree that it is written more like a regular novel, but I have seen some VNs that took that appro...

Re: How To Effectively Write Horror?

Horror is quite a hard genre to do effectively well. Yes, it is easy to slip into the battle royale genre, as finding more original topics can be hard. I've played a fair share of horror games, most of them point-and-click. To suggest an easy one, that'd be Shiver: the Vanishing Hitchhiker. Stephen ...

Re: OTChi Kocchi [BxGs][Romance][Normal][Paranormal]

I'd vote for the top one on this. However, like PyTom already said, I'm not too sure if that's not just that it's technically better. The project seems very ambitious, and from the sample script you provided, quite well put together, as well. The art seems great and fits your overall theme nicely. L...

Thanks for that, we're both working very hard on piecing this together right now. Thank you~

Re: Last Class Standing [BxG] [Horror, Paranormal]

I like what you did for the logo. I'm a big fan of horror myself, so I'm looking forward to this. One thing I was surprised about is how cheerful the art and colors look. Hey, it's not a bad thing. The Japanese horror otome VN 'Mysterious Shiratsuyu' doesn't have the darkest style either. For some r...

Re: "Real" nekomimi?

Heck, what will they make next? Ears...a tail...it's very interesting, and the price is fair, but I'd never buy one. Still, oddly intriguing.

Re: When You Hear The Bell Ring [Suspense]

A different approach than with the standard VN, which is a good thing here. The play style should suit the plot line perfectly. Looks like it'll be great. Looking forward to it.

Re: Help introducing to Visual Novel

I could be wrong - I got the impression there was no plot branching at all beyond maybe the ability to choose conversational options with no effect on the story. Why, that's not true at all! You can fail instantly just like in any good VN. All jokes aside, I base the fact that's it's a VN on a pers...

Re: Help introducing to Visual Novel

Oh i actually played some Ace Attorney but i never considered it to be a visual novel. Does it have origine from VN ? Because i allways thought about it as an adventure game. I mean there's actually a lot of gameplay elements and i don't think we can really talk about different story orientation. B...

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?

I loved the anime for Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro, as I love detectives. Most mysteries weren't all that mysterious culprit-wise, but they way they were executed were interesting, though better explained in the manga, perhaps.

Re: What makes people care about a protagonist?

Well that's a good question. I think protagonists are best when they have a strong personality. People also tend to like the protagonist more if they are in trouble or fighting against something. Of course, there are some real jerkface protags out there, but unless well done, the viewer will often d...

Re: Help introducing to Visual Novel

I'd recommend the Ace Attorney line that's for DS and iOS. It involves a lot of investigating and court action, but it was what first got me into VNs. So far there's six games but only five have been brought overseas as of yet.

Re: Last game you played?

I've recently been replaying the Ace Attorney visual novels. Just finished Apollo Justice, moving on to Edgeworth. It'll be interesting playing them in 3D soon.
