Re: Looking for Partners! (some people to team up with)
No no no, this isn't a matter about class. I'd be happy to work with you. That said I'm not the one pulling this together.

Re: Looking for Partners! (some people to team up with)
I could be misinterpreting what the OP is going for, but on small teams, work overlaps, so s/he would probably have to help with the coding anyway, unless the two that have replied are willing to take on all the work themselves (which is rarely feasible outside of a commercial setting). I'm actuall...

Re: Clearwater Crossing (Open Dev)
This looks like it will be a very interesting game if you can do everything that you have layed out here.
Though I have to ask, why did you call it open dev? (It may just be the programmer in me who works mostly on open source projects causing this question)

What type of programming do you think that your game would need? Are you just doing a KN? A simple VN? Or perhaps something a little more interesting?

Re: Rotating/Scrolling Animated Menus?
Wouldn't this just be an array of images with the move function already in renpy combined with the use of a simple on event command where it's either a mouse click or a key strike on the keyboard? Apricotorange does seem to be right about not being able to make it rotating through software, you do h...

Re: Looking for Partners! (some people to team up with)
Do you have any idea what type of VN you would want to make? I'm taking from the samples that you have provided that you enjoy horror? Or am I simply over reading what you have offered as examples? As a side note, it is unlikely that for your first project you'd be able to find someone who's interes...

I'll help if you want me, though to be honest from what you've told me, I don't know if there's really that much that you need.

Re: A team?! (visual novel, GxB, fantasy)
Hi, I was wondering what help you need with the programming? While I'm new to Ren'Py I do have Python development experience. Is this story going to use a simple branching story structure, or will it do something more complex?
