Re: Anime is dying, ㅋㅋ..
The last anime I watched was.....either Eyeshield 21 or Lelouch of the Rebellion. I totally loved Eyeshield 21, mostly because of the cast of characters (Hiruma's awesome, I say) and Lelouch of the Rebellion because it was a really nice twist on your usual protagonist (to me) :3 Is anime dying? Fran...

Re: Merry Christmas and Have a Happy Holidays!
I'd write this in a sentence But my mind refuses cooperation So this is my Merry Christmas wish to all of you All compiled into this poem As twenty-twelve begins to Gradually come to an end, did you know I never really thought that I'd even venture into VN? I stumbled whether by Accident or a coinci...

I know I said I'd review (something like that), but I've been so busy lately that I've only just started playing the game eventhough I downloaded it at the moment it was available *hides* I'll give a more in-depth and comprehensive review later :3 For now, Merry Christmas Eve and congratulations on ...

Re: Ideas Dump
I might, and I might not.... Lost Memories: the Yakuza's Daughter No memories. Just great. You don't remember anything about yourself, except your name. As it's too much hassle, you shrug off the dilemma of having no recollection of your memories nor your past, and simply forge on with your life. Ye...

Re: Need Help for"City of Gods" a Fan/Adv/fur story(Please R
This is...thoroughly ambitious for a first VN, and quite daunting - seeing the huge block of text.. Anyway, you said in your first post that you need help and elaborated on what you need - but didn't specify the positions. You should specify them (i.e: writers, proof-readers, composers, BG/Sprite Ar...

Re: How to be confident in your writing?
Yeah, I have. An example of this happening is my fanfic on FF.Net - a CardCaptor Sakura story titled "Love Blossoms: Discoveries." Initially, the idea seemed really interesting. I had it all planned out in my head as well as planned to make it a trilogy but then as stuff happened, my writing style c...

Re: Strangest VN idea you've had the desire to make
Haha. What the heck. XD That video... That actually does sound interesting if you could play it out in the right ways. So many plot possibilities. @-@ Is ingenious? :P Exactly. I would (or might) do it if I know how to do a battle system. Maybe in the future. Or someone could use this concept. Who ...

Re: What is your specialized genre?
I write whatever that appeals to me, to be honest. I write all kinds of genre - from humour to fantasy to slice-of-life, to thriller and the occasional horror. I only delve into whatever genre I need for the plot. Applegate put it best: My best genre is "nothing happens: the story". To your question...

Re: Why so many unfinished VN?
What Taleweaver said is true. I'm working on my first VN - and I'm using all free resources. Plus, I'm doing everything (coding, editing, writing..etc) all by myself. My story seems simple and straightforward, but I can already tell that the story-line is going to be long, despite having only two ob...

Re: Strangest VN idea you've had the desire to make
Recently a friend and I were talking about making a VN with strange stats to increase through choices. Like a handsomeness or bishie meter that actually changes the character's appearance in that way as they increase. This video immediately came to mind  I wouldn't really call the following a ...

Re: Writing Workshop(s) planning thread
As far as scheduling would go I was thinking probably about a lesson 3 times a week. (Might have to up that to 4 though depending on how many lessons we end up with) With that kind of plan it would probably take 2 full months to get through everything. Well unlike an Art or other subjects workshops...

Re: End of the world and all that.
I kind of assume that the story would not end with the end of the world, but with the world saved, by a sacrifice. And then, for everyone but the one who sacrificed himself to save the world, life goes on - and they have to deal with the aftermath. That's what I think is the interesting part - the ...

Re: In need of advice regarding my writing quality
That is true. I'll have to be sure to keep that completely in mind. As far as keeping things concise, I tend to have so many things to include in a chapter, that it sorta becomes almost a novel in the process. I would prefer to keep things at a certain minimum (namely something like 14k words, like...
