I wish to create a visual novel as well as a dating sim for my web comic. Problem is that I can't truly grasp the codes for it. And I could use some other artists to help out with the games, too. I already have some artists that work on the web comic, but I don't wish to put too much on their should...

I want to be able to have the players to chose their name, but I'm just beginning with coding. I'm pretty new to everything and clueless. Would love to have someone mentor me in how to do some things if that isn't too much trouble.
