What happens if you try to turn out of your play music "path" statements to play sound "path" keeping the path the same? Sounds aren't working? [SOLVED]

Hi guys,

My sound code is:

play sound "sfx/quake.wav"
It doesn't work. And it's not just this one, but for all my sound. The volume is up and working, and I have this set to True in my options.

config.has_sound = True
What am I doing wrong? The music and voice work, but not the sound.

Is that the built game or from the launcher? AFAIK, running it from the launcher may cause it to say "pythonw". (I'm running a different OS from before so it doesn't for me at the moment.) And there's config.window_title in options.rpy. The default value is "A Ren'Py Game". Yes, I'm running it from...

Is there anyone who knows how to change the icon name from saying "pythonw" to my game's title "Heartbeat"? When the mouse hovers over the icon, I don't want it do say "pythonw"...

I don't know if video support has changed since this wiki page [link] , and after spending some time I realized that stuff I tried to use were using AAC audio, which isn't supported. I tested the code you pasted, and it worked perfectly for me. Make sure you aren't clicking during the splash screen and that you defined bg main_menu in script.rpy and set mm_root to the same one in options.rpy (it's near the bottom of "Themes" section).
