Re: Ren'Py Academy [a VN to teach you basic Ren'Py coding]
This is an amazing idea! I like the fact that you're framing it in a school story, too. If you still need coding newbies to be beta-testers whenever this is released, or need a proofreader, I'd definitely be interested!

*That's* a speed painting? That looks amazingly detailed to me...I can't even imagine what your non-speedpaint backgrounds look like! Also, the character design for the troll looks fantastic; I love her color scheme and her hair! This game sounds really interesting, and it's very impressive that you...

@Storme, go on expensive dates with him (the aquarium is usually a good bet) every weekend to raise the MC's love impression. It's really hard to get Chase's up; I had the easiest time with Blaze's meter, but the hardest time with his. Finally reviewing this game, long after playing it: I enjoyed th...

I'm with those who liked the epilogue, although the "good" ending was my favorite - made me laugh quite a bit! A short, cute, and hilarious game overall. Horai's comments were almost as amazing as her similes...although in my opinion, Rick Hastley definitely stole the show. Excellent work, especiall...

Re: Bronze - A retelling of Beauty and the Beast
Just wondering how progress on this is going. I've played the original in IF form, which was amazing, and I'm curious as to how you'll adapt it to VN form (since a lot of the puzzles depend on figuring out the right commands to type or things to examine/look up). At any rate, I'm excited to see grap...

It depends on the way the stat raising is handled. I liked the statraising in Scheherazade and RE: Alistair - the former because there were so many different stats, cute pictures, and descriptions that the stats felt fresh, and because it was a real strategic accomplishment to max out skills; the la...

Re: Era of Monsters [GxB][Fantasy, Romance, Comedy]
I don't think adding erotica will necessarily ruin the story, as long as (like ShippoK said) it doesn't feel randomly tacked on. Making them optional sounds like a good idea.
I'd be happy to help with the demo! Again, this project sounds really interesting. Can't wait to play!

Re: Era of Monsters [GxB][Fantasy, Romance, Comedy]
This definitely looks like something I would want to play. The art is absolutely amazing. I like the protagonist's design the best! I love seeing strong-willed female protagonists in games. It's definitely all right if she's a bit of a jerk. One thing I would prefer in this case would be dialogue op...

Re: Puella Nomen Inveniēs [VN][GxB][Mystery]
Puellarum is plural, puellae singular (name of the girl is what I assume you're going for). (Source: I've taken Latin classes and read texts on occasion.) This VN sounds amazing! I really enjoy being able to choose personality type freely, and the hundred-plus menu options you've mentioned with actu...

This sounds like a really interesting story! You mentioned that ten years have passed since the blight started - by this point, has it affected areas outside Verdale as well? I assume its method of transmission is a spoiler (I'm guessing it's some sort of soil-borne virus, assuming it even has a sci...

This project looks amazing; I'll definitely buy it, especially now that I know it's for a thesis project! I'm neutral on the hair clip issue. I think they look pretty cute in the designs you've posted, so I wouldn't mind if they were included. I agree with Ayame on Eli's new design looking quite you...

Re: Doppelganger : Dawn of the Inverted Soul [Guide up]
@TheOneTwo To the best of my knowledge, Ren'Py stores save files in the Application Data folder instead of the folder that the game is in. So, if this is the case, even if you deleted the "Doppelganger" folder from your computer, unzipping the Doppelganger files again should still allow you to start...

Re: Doppelganger : Dawn of the Inverted Soul [Guide up]
@TheOneTwo: If your savegames weren't deleted, you should try reinstalling and going for some of the bad endings! Especially in the final path, they weren't just "Game Over, you failed" types of endings - Feast of the Inverted Soul had a lot of specifically written content that was quite amazing! If...

Re: Scheherazade has been released! (Sim, Romance, Commercia
I'm surprised that this doesn't have more comments. Scheherazade was an absolutely amazing game, and I think the price was really fair for the amount of content that players received. The gameplay was quite fun, and relatively easy to pick up - it took me ages to pick skill-increasing activities whe...
