Re: [Untitled](GxB)(Fantasy)(school life)
Sounds interesting, although I would mention one thing: the combination of fairy-tale style princess and everyday high school seems somewhat jarring. If it's taking place in a typical high fantasy setting, why would there be a high school? If it's meant to be more of an urban fantasy setting, then t...

Re: Amici [Friendship, Fantasy, Psychological, Horror]
Looks nice so far :D Are you intending for this to be purely a VN, or are you looking to put other kinds of gameplay in there for combat and such? It'll be purely VN, but in the combat scenes you will be given choices that will affect the battle (like any other VNs out there which has battle scenes...

I tend to go the other way and try and fit in more complexity, but then I'm a glutton for punishment.

Re: Artist doing commissions! Sprite/BG/CG
Can't believe I just found this thread. This is what I get for not following LemmaSoft enough these days. Necomiira is a wonderful artist (although I'm sure you can see that), but that's not all. She's rather fast and reliable. If I were you, I'd take advantage of what she's offering right now. :wi...

Re: Where does the relationship begin?
I would say that it depends on what kind of story you're trying to tell. For example, I'm writing a VN focused on arranged/political marriage, so I have a very short first act, seeing as the "getting to know her" part has essentially been skipped; while I have a very simplistic way of choosing a lov...

Re: Stranger than Fiction [PLAY ONLINE NOW]
Not bad
I'd definitely like to see something similar to this, if a bit longer/more substantial, in the future.

Re: Write a scene in 11 steps
Interesting method there. Not sure what it's referring to when it says to write a scribble version
Is this common lingo that I've just not picked up on?

Re: Writing Solo or Writing with a Co-Writer?
The only time that I've tried to co-write a project was a novel idea that I wanted to try. So I got together with a bunch of my friends and we brainstormed a setting, some characters and how those characters would interact. We decided that we would each write for a particular character and alternate...

Re: Famous Tragedies: Unlocking the Best End
Hmm, well this isn't a tragedy, but perhaps a similar process could be applied to Richard III (the play, not the individual). I would say his main mistake would be ordering the murder of the two princes. He has them in his care, and he wants them out of the way, but is that the sensible choice? Choi...

Re: Music while writing?
I usually write while listening to music that is appropriate to whatever mood I'm trying to create. For example, if I'm trying to write a battle scene then it tends to be the sort of music that gets the adrenalin going, while I'm more likely to listen to soothing stuff in a more emotionally intimate...

Re: What are your favourite VN Characters?
Unfortunately I still haven't played that many VNs, but I do have a few favourites from things that I've watched or played. Hanako from Katawa Shoujo : http://fortyfourfennecs.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/katawa-shoujo_28.png I loved Hanako because she was the character that I just wanted to pick up ...
