These are so beautiful. I really hope somebody makes a Yuri Jam game out of them! >3>;

Re: How to Make Your Characters Relevant to Your Story?

As of now I see it as a story is driven by the theme Apocalypse rather than the character. A normal High School Girl would not even care about the end of the world nor she have the power to save it. (So ONLY THE AUTHOR could save the world from Apocalypse) The theme Apocalypse doesnt match the MC u...

Re: The Fetch [Yurijam][Supernatural/Horror/Romance]

I was considering making the cast college age but found some story elements didn't quite hold up or would need to be revamped entirely so high school it stays. Oh sure! I didn't mean that as a criticism, more an observation on my own perceptions. And how our environment colours how we think of char...

Re: Failed Sprite, critique welcome

I think your shading is pretty good actually. Most of the time, I see less experienced artists shade a character like it's a disc, with just one shadow spread equally towards every edge. Yours is a LOT less generic, especially where you've followed the folds in the skirt. Okay, you need a little pra...

Re: Which laptop is best suited for Ren'Py?

I don't know what the specs on Macbooks are like, but my laptop is a sub-$1000 Win7 notebook from about five years ago with no dedicated graphics card, and it has never had the slightest difficulty running Ren'Py for dev or games. I suspect either of your options will work just fine.

Holy cow, that's beautiful work! Especially the sprites. I agree with Laiska, your art definitely deserves higher prices ^_^;

http://shebites.invincible.ink/art/2015/sxs_sigrid_co.png Updated! I think I've settled on a colouring style! I was actually aiming for a really delicate watercolour style, but apparently I can't do that to save my bum, so this will have to do >3>; I'd still really like to know what you think about...

Re: SC2VN - The eSports Visual Novel [Non-Commercial]

I don't think I've ever seen a VN about e-sports! Very cool idea, and definitely one that was ready to be used. I'm glad to see there are some female characters around, and I love the excuse to use everybody's gamer handles. Hahah, awesome XD I'm super busy on YuriJam, but I'm definitely gonna play ...

Re: The Fetch [Yurijam][Supernatural/Horror/Romance]

Woooow, that title screen rough is creepy as hell! >.<; This is a really interesting concept, and I love how diverse your cast is! I hope that there are safe/happy endings despite the horror theme, because I don't want to see anything terrible happen to any of them :< Mia is my favourite so far, mos...

Re: Scattered Notes [GxG/YuriJam]

I really like these two! One of the things I love seeing in romance is "high contrast" couples, so if this is what it looks like - that is, awkward nerdy inventor girl + outgoing saucy dancer lady - then I am totally into that XD I'm excited to see what you make. Good luck! :D

Re: Over 14 Backgrounds - Only 100 usd for all of them!

These are amazing. Not exactly within my price range, but well worth it I would say. If I were working on a project that suited these sorts of BGs I would be sorely tempted, despite the fact that I can't really afford them >3>;

I may be wrong, but the use of "college" strikes me as a bit of an Americanism here. I'm no expert on Japan, but my understanding is that (much like here) the place to study art or architecture would be university, not college. Otherwise, really cute! I like your style - it's very anime-ish, but dis...

Looks adorable, and sounds really interesting! I love the GUI mockups, looks like a really promising design. Good on you for including an NB love interest too, there need to be more of those.

Re: Times New Roman

In addition to the advice other people have given, if you do use a serif font (which I do find desirable sometimes , mostly when the more contemporary look of a sans-serif sort of kills the mood for your story), it's a good idea to search for one with "true" italics. That is, an italic/oblique varia...
