Re: Weekly drawing -- source of drawing motivation!
@sasquatchii, I can hardly wait to see what you'll make of it :D @LateWhiteRabbit, Quite a story there, that's wonderful! And your drawing with vectors...it's crazy  @Kohaku, nice atmosphere! Well, since no one has announced this week's subject yet, how about Faithful Battle Steed ? This thre...

Wow! Absolutely amazing :O
I must admit, I'm not a huge fan of futuristic stuff in general but your works are different in a very nice way

Re: Weekly drawing -- source of drawing motivation!
And here's my submission, it took me waay too long and I really want to improve my coloring! (If anyone knows any good coloring tutorials please let me know) I was inspired by TellTale's Fable game series, The Wolf Among Us. Has one else here played it? It is a point & click detective type game (I ...

Re: Tunnel Vision [Kinetic Novel, GxG, Romance, Comedy]
Played it, loved it!
There's a good alchemy between the art, the music and the writing ^^
I've also had a lot of fun playing Romance Detective! So, I'm definitely looking forward to your next games.

This thread motivates me!
Plus I'm into fairy tales, lately (or rather modified versions of classic fairy tales). So here's a little piece inspired by Dragon Fin Soup and AC: Black Flag, although I haven't played either x)

@Tempus, thank you! I'm amazed by what you can do with a bit of 3D and thus (not so) secretly stalking your artworks

Re: artistic confidence
What everyone said! There's a book I really like, it's Malcolm Gladwell's "Outliers" (he's an American journalist). In this book, he wrote about the 10,000 hours rule. He says that no matter the subject of study, doing 10,000 hours of focused work leads to mastering the said subject. He also says th...

Re: Rising Angels: Reborn
I really liked the game and got 4 out of 5 endings in one sitting :P However, I have the same concerns as many others: One is that Stan was too obvious...the player already knows he is a vilain from the title screen image Oo Now, I've read all the other comments and some critiques on different sites...

Backed!
I played both RATTR and RAR and was surprised by how much the overall quality of the game improved over time, so I'm eager to play RAF ^^

Re: The Valentine [GxG, Romance, Comedy, High School]
Interesting. I'll keep an eye on this! Actually, the way you are working is smart (i.e faster release with lesser quality art, yet proper enough to be shown). And indeed, that is your alpha. It's an important milestone because having the alpha ready fast is like saying your game is ready to be playe...

Re: Haven't Drawn In A While?
I also find myself in the same situation sometimes. I guess that's because I really wanted to improve and I followed the rules too much. You know, getting the right perspective, measuring proportions, etc. That affected the time I took to complete a drawing. And of couse, the longer it takes, the mo...

Re: Hierofanía 2 (Fantasy) (Demo available)
I just finished playing the demo and I loved it! As others have said, there were some slight issues in terms of readability and I like CheeryMoya's outline solution. Otherwise the music works well. In fact, you've got a well-defined universe and your art has a lot of personality. And I think the mus...
