Voice actors needed for indie survival horror, PAID JOB.
Hi to everyone, I know it's been a while since the last time I came here, but as you'll understand I've been pretty busy. Now, I won't beat around the bush, an indie developer team needs English -no matter if British or American- voices for their game, a survival horror (Silent Hill-style) for PC, A...

Re: Will people actually read a KN?
If the story is good, it doesn't really matter if it's a KN or a VN. Planetarian and Narcissu are a solid proof.

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
I was bored after watching a stream, so I made this:

As always, feedback is cool, even if I was lazy with this one.

Re: Do you remember your first VN?
It's more a SimDate than a VN, but my first one was... Love Hina for the GBA. Years Tsukihime came, and that was the beginning of a good relationship.

Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^
Well, I don't paint enough to make my own thread, so I'll put it here: Today I finished a fan-art, and it's really important to me: As I said at deviantART: This is something... pretty special to me. Out of Mind is a RPGMaker game made six years ago. It was also my first finished voice acting ever, ...

Re: What is your specialized genre?
Horror. And gore. Damn, so much GORE EVERYWHERE. I even lampshaded it in one of my stories: "Eh, no podría ser un relato de Truefaiterman sin un poco de gore y casquería." "Hey, it couldn't be a Truefaiterman's tale without some gore and tripe." (Sorry if I failed with the translation). But, when ig...

Re: How offensive is swearing?
This is from the perspective of an atheist who happens to swear a LOT, and whose characters (not all of them) usually use the F word so many times it's almost comical: A nice swear from time to time can impact a lot, if placed correctly. Your idea seems pretty fine to me as it is: The pacifist chara...

Re: Which tablet pick?
If you're sure about getting it (if you are just starting, you can get to know programs and stuff with the mouse without spending money) I recommend you Wacom Bamboo: They're cheap (I've seen it for 50 euros) and they work pretty well, it's the one I use. That's good for starters. About programs... ...

Re: Kohaku's art thread critique/help welcome
I think you're focusing too much on textures, instead of shapes. It's ok with the fruits, but it's easier to notice with the scenery. That exagerated detail on textures breaks the shape, and there are a lot of irregular parts. It's easier to see with the rocks, specially in the gates's painting, whe...

Re: Information about (good-old) piracy on the Internet?
I've been listening to some shanties, and I've some some really interesting things, thanks! (But I was having too much luck: It's hard for me to get a good portion of the lyrics with my broken English xD).

Re: Tips on eyes?
It would be better if you had some faces instead of only eyes, it's hard to tell if details like distance between eyes and such is correct without a reference. With that said... they look pretty good, in my opinion. About the symmetrical eyes... Once again I can't really tell without the rest of the...

Re: Social Gaming
I think it's not suited at all for these games. It's like making an app so you can post "Hey! I finally reached chapter 4 of a book, yay!". And, if you want to record the game, or make a screenshot, it's pretty easy.

Re: Hotel Dusk and Last Window
I've played Hotel Dusk, Last Window and the two Another Codes. I think they're pretty good, but... they are flawed games. Hotel Dusk is, in fact, a painful adventure game to me, with dead ends, some weird puzzles and pixel hunting (the art, music and the plot were wonderful, though). Last Window was...

Re: "Fire Emblem: Awakening" and Voice Acting
There was this Spanish editorial called Plaza&Janes (There are other P&J in Latin America, I think) that released some edutainment adventure games, I just thought about them while posting about the voice acting :P It wasn't the best acting I've seen (nor the best games...) but they tried hard. And h...

Re: Best Anime Ever Watched?
I think it's cheating, but Spirited Away is the big one. If they have to be TV series I doubt between Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin and Le Chevalier D'Eon.
