Re: Characters in Games

I think you need to have the characters act and think like real people, with problems easy to relate with. More so, they need to be likable people. An old man weakened by an illness, trying to pretend he's healthy before his granddaughter. A little girl scared of the dark but protecting her little b...

Re: Character Developement: A FtM character in a BxB VN?

I think it depends more on how well you write the characters and how likable and easy to relate they will be. If you can construct your story in such a way that people will be able to connect with your characters despite their unusual qualities, then people will like it. Write it in a non-judgmental...

Re: Learning to Draw

Get a good art theory book, or look for theory somewhere on the internet, the basics: composition, color theory, perspective, proportions/anatomy, etc. Get a lot of reference photos for everything you draw and get to know your subject, how it is build, how it works (may mean some reading). Combine v...

Re: About diets...

I remember reading high protein diets are used by bodybuilders for increased muscle gain, but shouldn't be used for more than 2 weeks at a time or something like that. Apparently they can be unhealthy. As for carbohydrates, simple carbohydrates like sugar are unhealthy overall. The healthy ones are ...

Re: About diets...

Well, I'm not prone to weight-gain, and I eat pretty healthy. Although I should exercise more. I just eat when I'm hungry, although I'm a bit lazy so sometimes it takes me a while to eat something even when I'm getting hungry. I generally don't like food full of fat, and I don't like most cakes etc....

Myself in all roles, and then bask in the blinding brightness of my awesomeness.

Alternatively, a bunch of indie artists from the internet, they can always use some support.

Re: Dub or Sub?

Raws challenge me Subs make me giggle with joy Dub make me cry and lose faith in humankind I had never seen a compelling example of anime dub, and I've seen a few hundred of anime. There were a few exceptions amongst games though. The primary example was Disgaea hour of darkness, I prefer the Englis...

Re: Petite/loli protagonists in otome games?

Disregarding that in present world many 12 year old girls looks almost like adults. Disregarding that as a very small person I always liked small childish-looking protagonists. Disregarding that I always liked a fresh mindset which adults in fiction seem to generally lack Disregarding that I don't g...

Only if it really makes sense for the character to have that sort of humor. Otherwise only if you want to attract the bad sort of readers/watchers who find this exact sort of humor funny.

Re: Is there any way to make this image look drawn?

Alright, guess i will try GIMP then. Thanks! Just to clarify, i just have to try different filters on the image, right? Depending on what you want to achieve, it will work better or worse. Filters like various types of blur or noise reduction; artistic filters which simulate brush stroke of various...
