Re: Autumn's Journey[Fantasy][Friendship][NaNo13]03/26 updat

Such a lovely looking game and I shall hold my impatience in check, because the wait will be worth it for something this polished.

Re: Tips on making a visual novel team in REAL LIFE?

Timezones can be an issue for global teams. I remember getting out of bed at 2am to participate in an online chat session for a project.

Re: No Longer Interested In Renpy

That's a sad post Ekamu. Maybe you're being a little hard on yourself. Everything you create doesn't need to perfect (it takes time to learn and hone skills) but aim to have each piece you create better than the last piece you created and take pride in that achievement no matter how small it is. Bit...

Think my eyes fell out while looking at Matthew's CG. He's so lovely.

Re: Coming Out On Top (BxB, Dating, Comedy) (News 11/15)

Okay, I played the 18+ demo. Writing - I like the writing style. It's concise and to the point but at the same time the sentences haven't lost their 'rhythm' (nothing jarring that throws you out of the prose) and there's a nice flow to it. Artwork - I'm really pleased you redid your sprites. Much be...

Re: No idea where to start

Maybe start with your character Yuki.

He's got a startled, uncertain expression - so what was happening to him in your head when you were drawing him? What situation had he gotten himself into? Take it from there.

Re: Help! Making clean PNGs

I use Corel and find that when I save as a png I need to have a mask on the rest of the picture to get the transparent background. Otherwise when I open it, it will be against a white background.

Re: Which first? Learning Ren'Py or creating chara/concept A

The ideas forum isn't very strict with what you post there - you can just mention your story and characters without having any artwork yet if that's what you want. The WIP forum is stricter - you need to have started working on the game as screenshots are required (read the sticky on this forum to l...

Re: Adventures of Prince Ivan [VN] Proofing stage

I love you're art style - there is so much to look at in each picture and the colours glow. Very pretty.

Out of curiosity, how long has it taken you to get to this stage of your VN?

Re: Rising Angels: Reborn [GxB] [sci-fi]

Glad to see it's going so well.

I always feel I don't do enough on my VN when I read what you've been up to.

Looking forward to seeing it when it's finally done.

Re: The Dolls' Stories

This was a pleasure to play. I enjoyed it very much. The artwork was beautiful for the sprites and CG work, but I felt a few of the backgrounds needed more detail in the mid and foreground. Thanks for making this.

Re: Dandelion - Wishes Brought to You [otome][english ver]

I've bought the game and played it through once so far - got a bad ending but then I'm not good with stat building games. Will try again as the artwork is very pretty and it is a pleasure to play (just wish I knew what I was doing).

Re: Dreams of the Skies [2011 Anniversary Edition]

Played this and enjoyed it for the odd 45mins it took to read through. I guess something developers may not think about is that their games can be found many years later by folks new to visual novels and LSF. So keep turning them out.
