Re: Help me make the best flyer ever
Thank you for all of the suggestions so far. Where I live, anime is not uncommon. Sure it may not have a big fan base as rap music, but I've encountered multiple anime fans from highschool to college. It's a very small niche, like playing pokemon in public. My target audience are programmers, writer...

Help me make the best flyer ever
The season is about to be over and college is coming back. I don't normally start clubs or anything, but I want to try something new this semester. I want to create a chill out/visual novel club on my campus. So far all I can think of is making a flyer and post them all over campus like a swarm of l...

Re: Range of emotions?
In my opinion, it should be at least 6 and at most 30. Famous games such as Persona 3 and 4 have only around 6 facial expressions and the whole game turned out great. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. http://www.spriters-resource.com/playstation_2/persona3/ Everybody knows that each chara...

Re: Tips for a Beginner Creating Otome Game?
There are plenty of things you should keep in mind if you're serious about making a visual novel. Story, characters, settings, learning how to program (I suggest using the tutorial built into ren'py), creative ideas of how you want your novel to look like, ask questions in the forums, and last but n...

Oh my gosh I feel like the luckiest guy right now. I've been looking for something like this as a place holder for a while now and I can't believe somebody would give it away for free. I absolutely love all of it! Thank you!

Oh thank you very much, guys. I messed around with the style.window's margin and padding for a bit and I managed to get it to work. Thank you again!

Trouble with namebox
I'm having trouble positioning the name of my characters. Instead of using another box to put their names in it, I just want to move their name (in this case ???) into the blue box in the picture. I've been searching for over 30 minutes and I'm still lost :/

Re: Free textboxes! Alter, etc. as you like!
I absolutely love your modern textbox! If I'm not asking too much, can you make that same textbox, but without the name box? The thing on the top left I mean. I was thinking of using it as inner thoughts for my main character. It would be awesome if you could help me out.

Re: On detailing surroundings
The more you describe something, anything, in your writing, the easier it is for your readers to sink into that world. For example, if you simply say "The cloud is grey. I walk towards the store.", the time lapse in the reader's head is merely seconds. If you however describes something in details, ...

Re: How to create "waking up" scene in a more dynamic way?
It would help if you had provided more information, but I hope this is more than enough to help you out. The rays of the morning sun shines through MC's window, waking him from his sleep. It's surprising that somebody such as MC is awaken by the sun rather than the sound of his alarm clock. A MC is ...
