Re: Character Feedback [critique welcome!]
@JumpJump: Those illustrations were great! Even simple things like Link jumping, using horizontal/vertical/jump attacks with his sword, running, picking up an item, pushing a box- there was a separate drawing for each of those. I was super impressed! @Kohaku: Thanks! I think I can make my silhouette...

Your work is lovely! I'm always impressed by traditional work, and with such nice inking and coloring too! I'm totally jealous.

Re: Character Feedback [critique welcome!]
Looks like you are going on the right track. The silhouettes look really distinctive and what you have shown so far of the protagonist is wonderful. How long have you been drawing? If you don't mind me asking. Thank you! I've actually been drawing since 1999! My friend had just received The Legend ...

I have always wanted to make a visual novel, and I'm finally buckling down and doing it! I'm working on the UI now, but I wanted feedback on my c...

Re: Katy133's Art Styles
I liked this style a lot, mainly because I love simple things. :P I agree! There is something very endearing about this style and it stands out to me the most. To answer another question - I like your drawing style, but I think there could be some more fluidity in your inking lineweights (the digit...

Re: What's your reaction after watching a really amazing ani
After I finish watching an anime, I usually feel very wistful and nostalgic. I'll stare into space for awhile. Then I'll feel empty because I know all the adventures, fun, and drama is over. I'll watch a few clips to relive the magic, but it isn't the same. I remember discussing about that feeling t...

Re: Remember Me (otome, school life, VN)
Just a head's up- you might want to think about changing the title. There was a videogame released earlier this year with the same name as well as a visual novel with a similar title (and car accident related amnesia). As for the amnesia plot...what in particular is unique to it in terms of the stor...

Re: Oldest Visual Novel...
The one thing I have to disagree with you on here is that VN are NOT a "young medium". I don't know why I see so many people saying that. I think what was meant is that VNs (particularly OELVNs) are new to the western audience, which is certainly true. I think it would be much more inspiring than d...

Re: FI: Interview [Platonic GxB/G] [Comedy/Friendship] Updat
Very lovely art! Although I agree with what merdeamour said on the previous page - the logo is a tad difficult to read. I think it is because the paper texture in the background is the same color as the wording? Maybe changing the color or adjusting the contrast on one or the either could fix it. An...

Re: What is your favorite writing tips ?
What I learn every NaNoWriMo time: 1) Start. 2) Finish. I sounds pretty basic, but you wouldn't believe how many stories I have written in the past that never have a conclusion, never reach the climax, and sometimes don't go beyond the inciting incident. Those stories remain unfinished. When you act...

Re: Opinions on warning for cruel twist ending?
^I agree with this. For example, se7en is one of my favorite films, and it gets darker and darker as the film goes on. It has anything but a happy ending. I went in to see a thriller and got what I wanted. Find Know your audience and stick with it! I just think the intent should be apparent from the...

Re: Psst. You. Let's talk about stylistic choices.
I don't think I can describe my style in one word. It has been described by others as cute, so I'll go with that! I wish it was more varied and a bit more loose (in a cartoony way) as most of my drawings seem to be stiff. My way of drawing is definitely starting to pick up some western influences, b...

Like everyone else has said, the art is beautiful! Lovely, lovely, lovely.
Also, I agree that the textbox text is hard to read in the top right hand screenshot. I'm not sure if increasing the opacity for the textbox is the solution? You should test out some combinations and see.
