I think the thing you'll find most interesting is the "bar value AnimatedValue(health, range=100.0)" section. That should give you the animation you are looking for. Let me know if I can help.

Depends what you are going for. I like the way the hair is high-lighted on the left, and the detail on the character on the left. I like the overall design of the girl on the right more, since it feels like it's easier to see the whole image, which would be great if you were making this for mobile. ...
